Not trying to be able to hear into your 30's are you? Keeping up will really depend on your definition, by mine you'd be deaf shortly by yours it may be different. You talk about budget, but do realize that realistically you should put 2-3x your budget in your front stage versus your subs if you truly desire it to keep up and more importantly sound good. Those horns are cheap once you understand the reality of things, it is the subs and your desire for unecessarily overboosted bass that is costing you money. As for what else you can do, really not much. If you have that much bass the only thing really that will keep up are horn loaded drivers.

Your solution is really, really, really simple. The bass boost is effing things up DON'T use it.
