Welcome to the IHoP
Hell I'd love a couple feet of it. Don't get enough time on the snowmobiles and if it is anywhere near cold, might as well have snow. Plus it makes driving fun as you can do whatever the hell you want when the roads are covered.

I wish it was snowing here, all ours melted today as it rained and was 40.

adding a litte SQ sound to my BL madness
With 4kw your only hope is horns. You really don't need another tweeter along with them, in fact it will hurt more than help. Just do the horns in your case. The hard part for you to have keep up then is going to be the midbass, not a trivial task.

JimJ and all others who may be interested
The last time they did that I bought a pair. Other than being auditioned they just sit in a box in my basement. I really should whack out some enclosures for them.

And to top it off, I am making Lamb Makhani for dinner and was too lazy to make Naan so I bought some at the local Asian grocery.

PITA if the person who put it up did it properly. Yep, and especially so since the puckers didn't paint they just primed so it is going really, really slow. I am not helping either

Jeez, they are temporary and it was junk wood. I almost burned it last weekend, at least now I won't waste the real stuff.

Plus I had to use it. Having 4 2'x8' pieces laying in the garage worked out to four 45"x20.5" shelves

5/8"... I'm very dissapointed The 5/8" stuff was for some shelving that doesn't need to hold nearly any weight. I probably should have saved a few bucks and used chip board, but just can't handle the crap surface compared to the ply.

Got rid of the X and got this.............
Jeep SRT. You live in the wrong part of town for MN nice. Come out by the lake and you will see how real MN'tans live. As for Socal, I am there about once a month and all I ever want to do is leave. I like the weather here much, much better. edit: by no means am I implying the reason I like it here is the weather. It is one of the reasons, but the available culture, food, education, people, and environment are.

Fi vs. RF vs. JL
Better is subjective and installation dependent. Problem with the OP wish is that to have SQ "most" of the time and then be able to dump on other systems isn't really possible without a ton of woofers. By definition they are opposites.

Welcome to the IHoP
Took down a cabinet in my kitchen, turned a closet into a pantry. Been a productive "morning" so far. Just some temp shelves, I will eventually make a nice built in cabinet but I had some 5/8" ply leftover so I thought it would be better to have some temp shelves to figure out what spacing in the future will make the most sense.

his friend's '69 Amazing. That is my father's dream car. I really hope to be able to get him one some day I went over to: http://www.wildcustommotorcycles.com/motorcycles_home.html yesterday and met the owner/fabricator as he is building a 69 Firebird as well. He only has $4k in his and it is nearly ready for paint. When shit comes to fruition I think he is going to fab me a custom chassis for my "project". In the past three months he has built a 32' Ford 5 window, a 66 Cobra replica, a couple of sand rail chassis's, a wayzata (sp?) modified chassis, a full blown custom chopper, most of a 69 bird, and that was just a few of the things sitting in his shop. In a bike contest head to head he beat out Billy Lane. His welding skills are amazing and he is super nice. My buddy and him are trading parts on their 69's which has built us a relationship!
