Cash can actually sometimes hurt the negotiation as they make money in finance. I'd actually tell them you plan to finance with them and when it comes time in finance pay cash. What will make the salesman move is to be firm with your offers and 100% prepared to walk away if you don't get the deal you want. 9 out of 10 car deals I make, I get up to leave at least 2x in the process of negotiating.

I personally wouldn't do either selection. If you have the propensity and possibility of doing a real active setup, I would suggest replacing all your drivers but there is no way I'd pay for the Germs. The ovens in my house are original, 1974 baby.

Most ovens don't have a "quick" pre-heat cycle so you can put things in right away; however, if it is one of those new fangled saving time style ovens they turn on the afterburners to pre-heat things. Personally I think afterburners in an oven are a bad idea.
