Hey, if you were living 4000 years ago and saw that huge thing up in the sky that let you see and kept you warm, wouldn't you think it was something mystical and powerful? How about today?

Mk had the idea of "My thought was to come up with a set price for headunit, speakers in the doors(mid and tweet) w/crossover, running all power wire to 2 amps + speaker wire, amp rack, sub box(for 1-12") sealed but charge like 30/hr for deadening (this is with two people doing it) because deadening and sealing is a bitch.... hands down " any thoughts? hDepends on the customer and how much of a pain he will be and how much of a learning experience it is for the two of you. its should be pretty pain less since i just did this install in my car. so i will know what im doin pretty much. and the guy just wants a figure and if he thinks its right or to much im sure we can work it out. sounds like a good guy with all the goods already he said, and he just doesnt have the time to install it himself. What u think about that situation sean? Up to you a bit. Depends on how much you like him and how much you want to gouge him. That part I can't answer.

I used to have a 68 Imp 2drht you did? when? surprised you'd own a GM It was the car that made me swear off GM stuff. Now the truck is, every 15 years I make the same mistake I guess. What was wrong with it? Generally, GMs from that era are the ones I'd trust the most. Everything that could possibly break, broke. Rear end, trans, defroster, power steering, alternator, starter, wheel bearings, .... I only drove the damn thing for 10k miles as well and it was my grandfathers who worked for a car dealer and maintained everything really well. Generally it was the biggest POS I have ever owned, I replaced it with the Galaxy which never gave me any trauma at all in comparison. It was also probably 10dB's quieter on the road. The Imp was a loud pig. damn Stupid truck did it again today. Now at highway speeds I have a positive flux of cold air coming in on the passenger side and when I push the inside air recirculator button it flashes and reverts to fresh air in. Pretty sweet when it is 10 deg outside to have "fresh" air coming in. I had other problems with that damn Impala as well. I will say that we had fun destroying it instead of selling it though. The trans was the final straw.

Most people have a hard time letting their subjective desires go in passing a class like that. My roomate, and best friend in college did marginal in the History of Jazz class even though his album collection was 5x the profs. Of course, his idea of the "best" and what should happen and did were completely different. I have a feeling that wine will bring this out in people even more. Personally I could probably do well in the class, but would have a hard time as a lot of well rated wines I think are horse pizzle.

It would be easy if you were truly interested, sort of like the History of Jazz. Non music types and people who don't like jazz thought it was tough, I took it for a free study hall with good music. Thanks Sean. Simplified my point. No problem, at least I could finally return the favor once.

happens to me after sex You should have sex in a real low noise floor anechoic chamber then and really hear it, this time from the outside in instead of the inside out.

It is crazy when you can hear your own heartbeat, and its loud.

Their sound quality room is not anechoic, but more fun to listen in there anyways. *realizes you meant listen to your heartbeat and not sound in the room...
  21. Ive bought a great deal of hardware from ED and never received one of "his defective products". Again this has been over the past 2 years. Im sorry, i really wish i had some horror stories i could share and agree with you guys on but it just hasnt happened. Ive never had a problem with issues regarding support on their products. They all come with a 5 year transferable warranties and i can pick up a phone at any time and talk to a tech regarding any hardware and have it addressed. One good experience doesn't outweigh all of the bad ones, your bias is based on a very small sampling of only one person and as you can see nearly everyone here has had a bad experience with Ben. If you just once had a car that regularly had defective deadener that was falling off, bought a sub that separated shortly after use, bought an amp that failed quickly and then received flack trying to get it warrantied your outlook would change. Then to add insult to injury the lies about things such as selling asphalt and calling it butyl, selling a ripoff of a Tangband sub and stating it the other way, copying a manufacturer so badly that you have to alter the design of your sub after it is released. Hell it sounds to me like he runs a business like the chinese and is worried about one an only one thing at that is Ben Milne.

/\ I should add that it wasn't exhaust noise either as the Galaxies exhaust was way louder, but the car was still quieter...well until you floored it.

I can almost complete a quality, full body workout on one of those dual cable machines. To be completely honest, 1k is pretty steep for that setup. A system like that should be priced around $650-$900. It lists at $2699 there. If you have recommendations, I am curious. I suppose I should make a thread in the new section
