Gah I hate that guy. I had one in my Linear Algebra class that would agree outloud, thank goodness he skipped class all the time and thought it was cool I was a nodder, but of a different type. Falling asleep makes me nod.

I can and it froze me up like a deer in headlights not all that plesant I am glad the stereo is off in the other room as there are no local speakers on this computer...I will probably forget to come back and try as well.

Damnit, already have my tickets but I am travelling four weeks in a row so the w gets the weekends. I assume you saw that 4 of the top 7 contenders on the Dynomax challenge came from MN.

what show is it? MEMS 2008 (IEEE) http://www.mems2008.org/ Microstructures and such. Things like the DLP mirrors, airbag switches, rf telecom switches and such. Everything there you can't see without a microscope though so measuring dynamics is tricky unless you have one of our systems

I have a tradeshow in Tucson so probably not though.

I may have to drive to Phoenix from Tucson next week for a day...may not though. Depends on a customer. Will let you know for sure.
  9. If the Fs is 850 there is NO way they are crossed there. I'd start at 2500hz as even 2x can be too close. I'd also bandpass the mid. Where will depend on a lot of things but again start conservative at least on the HP portion and work your way down. The goal of course is to get it to play as low as possible without hurting the driver.
  10. I've been banging in the ditches as much as possible...of course it is on my Polaris.
  11. Going to come down to budget on the fronts. If you need an amp, fronts, and a sub for your $800 it is time to start compromising.

my brain hurts this am again
  17. I agree with Neon; however, I will point out that there is NO WAY that Diamond is actually crossed at 850hz. If you cross it there actively it will blow. Start at 2500hz if not higher and work your way down.

While your work is great and I love the full range, I just can't dig the uber wide baffles. They look like desgin mistakes to me; however that doesn't mean i disrespect their capability nor does it mena that I don't want to hear them.
