No worries. Love the drivers, but feel they belong in my house more than in my car....plus the car is going to get sold.

NO. Go active or build a custom those are your only two choices. You cannot buy something off the shelf and have it work worth a shit at all.

Of course unfairly the Challenger had sort of modern swooping lines to begin with, but indeed of the three it is by far the best looking. Maybe I'll get an SRT8. Anyone ever put any stereo gear in a Jeep GC?

The old "new" Mustang looks way better IMO. Too bad as the Camaro could have easily been the best looking of the three, but the Challenger looks like it will look better as does the Stang.

I am glad you posted again and look forward to your response.- SEA W18EX 7"
Without a notch you may need to go even higher, only your ears can tell for your install though. That isn't a driver I'd recommend to someone first time out, if you don't have it yet I would highly suggest something easier to integrate.- Welcome to the IHoP
So I assume the fix went well?- New to Home Audio, looking for some opinions and ideas for a first set
If you build the plan with the whole crossover almost any receiver will power them, of course some will be better at it than others.- SEA W18EX 7"
I wouldn't use the Excel above 1200hz and it in particular needs a much higher slope especially if you run it higher in frequency, the breakup on that cone is brutal. You should have no subsonic at all, that is only for ported enclosures (generically). The Excel should be capable of playing down to dang near 40hz in a good install.- Welcome to the IHoP
Yet pretty much 90% of the people I run into in my age group and under have seen it.- New to Home Audio, looking for some opinions and ideas for a first set
Get new ones for sure. They should take care of you if you call.- Welcome to the IHoP
Got some pegboard up. Stupid nipco (sp?) heater is now only spitting kerosene and won't light again though. Had to come in and warm up.- Fi Q vs. CVX
Or a weakness in the average buyer- Something for you SQ Guys!
Drowning in shit might be the worst possible way to die.- Crunch
Sarcasm is funny no? And you have my curiosity why is ThomasW a moron?- Fatmat is a hoax......
I have the card for the president of MFM sitting in my office here, if Steve doesn't respond I suppose I could call him- Welcome to the IHoP
That dash is fugly.- Fi Q vs. CVX
Did any of them have their subsonics set right? Either way Fi > Kicker Unknown sorry i only saw the end result of overpowering the subs... If you take the sub out and it isn't working perhaps checking the settings on the amplifier should be the first step...- Fi Q vs. CVX
