  1. How are the gains set?
  2. Relieving pressure? Ha. What specific part of the pressure do you want to relieve and why? And yes, I feel that any rear drivers are dumb as are multiple drivers playing the same frequency range so obviously I am going to say that the "6 pack" is particularly stupid.

The whole running wires next to each other farce really cracks me up.
  7. There is one vehicle use for pro audio gear and it is boats. High efficiency, meant to throw a distance, and loud.

    * by NO I mean it is inaudible, of course there can be an electrical difference and therefore a difference but since it is inaudible that is a moot argument

Really entry level Knu or other decent manufacturers are fine. There is NO sonic difference between any well built cables.
  10. Really only YOUR ears can tell. If you really want an opinion you can get one, but you may or may not like the answer. Either way if I hate them and you love them wouldn't you still want them? Go give a set of listen and let us know what you think.
  11. I wasn't implying that you were dumb, but did want to point out the potential for catastrophe. I too like helotaxi have run amps with way less than the rated power of a driver and didn't need anymore.
  12. The 9800 has a "network mode" that allows other settings. IIRC anyway.
  13. The baffle should be the thickest part of the box. The skinniest I use is 1.5"... As for clearance, for a downfire I personally would like to see a minimum of 3" but a little more is better. You need more clearance than for just the excursion of the sub. *yes your seat has to go up.

Pull the door skin and then fold back the tabs. It only comes off from the inside Again another GM innovation...

You were there? I watched it last night and couldn't help but think how much you must have been enjoying it lol Last minute cheap tickets, 30th row...couldn't say no especially with the playoff ramifications. All the purple in me could do was bleed out

3> 5 in snow, but both need snowshoes. If I did happen to choose the 5 series, I'd need to be persuaded into getting the V8 (if appropriate). I quite like the I6, but if the V8 is the way to go, I need to start hearing it from more people. I6 > V8 for reliability and IMO fun although the V8 is easier to drive fast.

    Breakfast beer TOP
  19. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
I sent our service team beers and told them they were supposed to sit down in the break room and drink them all day. No work allowed. They kicked some serious ass the past few weeks.

Hell I am going to give everyone permission that works for me
  21. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
    I give you permission.
  22. I think that one actually might be, the 9800's were and perhaps the 7800 but until now I hadn't seen anyone using it that way. Regrettably you cannot tell from Pio's spec page as they call even a dumb highpass a crossover network. Grab the Low-pass circuit from the manual and type the available crossover points you have and that will help. Also does the mid bandpass on that h/u?
  23. 4" components are bad, it really shouldn't be hard to fit the 5.25" and you need some fabrication as all speakers really, really need to be mounted to a baffle anyways.
  24. As long as you are smart, I'd encourage that sort of headroom. Yummy. If you are dumb, kiss your subs goodbye.

Went to perhaps the worst Vikings game I have ever been to. They played like shit last night!!
