I get #4 as well. Damn house I think the house is pretty damn good Christmas present Good enough for the next few years Christmas's.
  2. You missed my point you need one for the fronts & sub, one for the rears, another for the other rears. If you insist on doing all that nonsense.
  3. The only trick was using enough terms in the google search to narrow it down.
  4. These days I wouldn't worry about the amp so much...they all can control what you need. (within reason as it can't be complete shit)

If you don't do four Neil, I'd personally get the Aura.

Debating on keeping DC or not.... They seem to provide good support for it but they just don't generate much interest....and there's no ties to the store, either. I am ambivalent, but would hate it if they stole sales from other more key suppliers.

Apparently he is an absolutely great guy. Have you heard the story of him and the Beaconsfield miners? Not yet.... A mine in Beaconsfield, Australia collapsed a couple years ago and several of the miners were killed or trapped. When there were only two surviving miners, they sent a message asking for various supplies and included was a request for an iPod loaded with Foo Fighters music. When Dave Grohl heard that, he sent over a fax to them saying that he was on tour and unable to come see them but that they could come to any Foo Fighters show they wanted to for free and he would buy them a couple beers before or after the show as well. One of the two survivors agreed to meet and Grohl lived up to his promise...they went out for beers and afterwards, Dave wrote "Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners" which is an acoustic instrumental song as a tribute. Very cool, thank you for sharing. Good PR on his part as well.

While you are smart enough to get by without school, do it together as you will regret your decision if you opt out of school now.
  11. go to: about.config and set: ui.key.contentAccess to 4 1) Type about.config in your browser address window 2) In the filter area type ui.key.contentAccess 3) Double click on the ui.key.contentAccess and set the value from 5 to 4 4) Close window Alt+s should work to add a reply again now.

  17. The L18's are sweet, but the breakup mode is a pain in the ass to deal with. Try more than 10dB of gain in the 6.5k+ regions along with valleys as well. They are not trivial to use passively nor actively but have great midbass and significantly more detail than the CA in the midrange region. In hard cone Seas drivers though, I really prefer the Excel though but it is at a completely different budget point.
  18. You are going to need an independent processor for each set of active components. IE if you want rears you will need at least 2 360's. I think you are still missing the point though as it is a waste of money, put all your budget in the fronts it will be louder and sound better, if you do it right of course.
  19. I'll simplify the definition for you. To have an SQ or SQextreme system your midbass must play as loud as your subwoofer and your subwoofer cannot be crossed higher than 50hz (yes there are exceptions like stereo subs up front, but I am trying to be general here). Yes there are other things necessary, but this is Step 1. You have to start your install over, again this isn't about equipment but the install and in that regard you have failed miserably. Not sure why you care though you claim to not be able to hear and like music a certain way so why are you trying to do it differently. Even worse, why are you trying to force your view of what something is onto others without really knowing what the hell you are talking about?

For me to whore, perhaps due to internet stupidity I need to do a CTRL-V (paste) and then and ALT-S on every page. If there was a quicker way I'd whore more. <-- too old to be smart with computers In fact the stupid alt-s is driving me nuts, the threads on CA.com don't have the fix and I can't find it here. It is making forums frustrating.

USB is an option as well.
  24. Mostly you have to train your ear. The crossover setting takes a long time even if you know what you are doing. As I stated earlier, since SPL is just subs you could surely have an SQ install and then swap out the sub amp & boxes for burps.
