Ah, but I would argue you have never really had it. Either way fine to hate it. Never freshly made. Then again I am not a mayo, or really anything 'creamy' type of guy. No salad dressings and basic simple food too. The W to be will prolly get me to change that. She LOVES to cook. J Alfredo shouldn't really be creamy, but cheesy. Basically mac & cheese is the American crap equivalent; however, with any cheese sauce on pasta the key is always good cheese. If the cheese is good, the pasta will be. In the case of Alfredo it is really 95% cheese, with the other ingredients being butter (enough to barely coat the pasta) and a very minimal amount of cream, just enough to get the cheese to melt smoothly. If you don't like Parmesan though you won't like it; however, I will add that the SHIT that comes in the pre-grated container is not parmesan but imitation. Real parmesan cheese is usually around $25 a pound, not $1.99. (it should have the word Reggiano after it as well)
