who cares what other people think, the real question is what are you willing to have. Why not just seal up the Rlp and see how it works for you. For $20 worth of mdf you would have a much better baseline to go from. Personally a single sealed 8 is enough for me, but I don't like anything exaggerated at all considering you have rear speakers I doubt that is the case with you though.

A pvc tube is fine, but you don't have enough length to fit it under your seat which is why I would do mdf. You will have to make a labyrinth on one side of the seat though to even get it long enough. For instance above try to draw a 2"x10" port that is 37" long in your box...you can see it isn't so easy. If it weren't for the hump in the middle of the truck it would be way easier.

I have Gore benched, but mostly since he has had a soft ankle this week and the other two have been significantly outscoring him all year. So far Barber is the 11th highest scoring back in our league. It seems odd, but true.

Not really all that exciting of a story, but here are the details. I was working as a manufacturer's representative and in Ottawa for a meeting with Sciemetric. As entertainment they thought (yay) to bring us out to a stripclub and entertain us. The owner of the company bought me a few private dances in a row with the girl I liked best, well by the second song she was asking where I was staying and what I was doing afterwards and not in a way that most strippers do, I felt she was actually sincere. They are pretty liberal with touching in Ottawa and she was having lots of fun playing with me so I decided to return the favor. Needless to say she was happy to have me finger her in the room. Of course before the end of my time in the room the maitre de walked by and saw it happening and escorted her right off my hand and out the door. Needless to say I didn't get to hook up with her afterwards. I did find out it was her first night and she had never danced before though.

Not a big fan of Sony's there are a ton of other options that are preferable. What exact Kicker combo are you looking at? Without knowing it is pretty hard to offer any recommendation.

In your budget range I'd leave off the BP option and shoot for a 1kw amplifier.

1st -- you can raise your seat 3/4" by just setting the brackets on mdf blocks. This will help some, otherwise I see about 2cuft of space being possible total. This area has to include the port volume, box internal volume, and sub volume. Personally I think upfiring is the easiest to fit under your seat as there is some space into the interior of the seat it can easily fire into. After this, you sort of have to choose an overall port area. The port length is inversely proportional to the area meaning the more port area the longer the port. At that point it becomes a game of playing with the numbers to make sure that it fits on the inside of your box. Less port area could mean port noise, but most definitely a shorter port.

For HT you are going to want to tune really low, somewhere in the 12-15hz range. As for enclosure size, I have no personal experience building a box for the xxx so I will refrain from recommending but will say with that much power you may need to downsize from the norm a bit.
