Welcome to the IHoP
I can coat them in SS Spectrum True. I'm debating on building them out of steel or wood, can't decide. If the hole diam on the tweet isn't to odd I can make them out of steel easy enough and just TIG weld it for chits and giggles. LEAD. I don't have access to any lead for it. Hell, look through the yello pages. Or do a google search. You can order anything online. Lead is soft enough you can easily machine it with a router. Better yet, make a template out of wood, then make a mold, get a bunch of fishing weights from Wal-Mart, melt them down and pour them into the mold. Voila! You can buy bulk lead for making your own fishing weights from Cabelas or Bass Pro cheaper.

Welcome to the IHoP
I'd like Sean to confirm that before you build anything. It seems a little large; I've got the tiny little XT19s be glad to, but remind me next week when I am home as I will forget.

not to sound stupid ?
I bought mine a year ago and had it shipped to mn for $315. L/R eq indeed along with the best looks of the bunch. Nice and understated.

Speaker Selection help... I'm a n00b.
Bummer in comparison for mounting options. Pretty much get to cut your door card, but it isn't a big deal.

Welcome to the IHoP
if you ignore the whole reality thing, it's a great idea Marx was a bit optimistic. Not so sure on that. Read Mein Kampf once and realize that everything that he predicts AHEAD of time pretty much happens. I wouldn't call that optimistic. didn't Hitler write Mein Kampf? Of course. *dates himself I read it in 1990 and read the Communist Manifesto pretty much back to back with it. before your trip to the USSR (it was still the USSR then, right?) Yep before. Hell it was still Leningrad as the country was de-Stalinized yet. I was there when they switched the name. Leningrad is St. Petersburg, right? yep

May i ask you what an OBS is? Answered in your other thread...

Welcome to the IHoP
The real easy solution is next to the mid. If it is an OBS, I'd just use a large format tweeter and mount it right above the mid. We just need to pick something for you with a nice off axis response.

Is it a New body style or old. Of course the latest ones are referred to as NNBS. Basically I was asking if your doors looked like mine: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...ic=6582&hl=

New Vehicles under $17,500
I really have to point out that is a terrible budget to be looking at new cars. A mildly used one for the same price will get you WAY more car. Another problem with those low priced beasts is how much value you lose driving it off the lot. I would rethink your whole logic in buying new.
