Look how the resistors, caps and inductors are mounted. They could be hand built. Regularly you will see trace connections as sputtered on by a machine to cheapen the assembly costs, but of course along with that usually comes a sacrifice in quality. Looks like a nice amp, not so sure I would care to mod them if I were you just put them to use and enjoy!

I would have gotten more than $100k extra last year. The only good thing though is that the house we will buy should be discounted the same percentage which means falling values are better for us. In particular if it forces the fed to force lower interest rates. Some of the houses we are looking at have come down near $180k which is insane, but we are looking in the most inflated area of the state which is scary but exciting at the same time. I have friends who have turned $50k in a week near the lake, but we are looking for a more stable long term solution with a workshop/garage and dock for me, a sewing room for the woman, and a logical place to have and raise children.

Yeah, I know my speaker location in relation to playing music or tv is terrible, but when I "lived" here those were the rears. To give more of a focus to the house when we "staged" it for selling we flipped the room around. Once I move, there will also be a new home audio focus...big time.

The one that was here when you were decided to buy a house that was smaller, 20 miles further away, and only $5k less. It was brand new, but so is the living space in my house. As an example, do you think a new "builders" house would have a kitchen that looks like this? Plus where I live the value will go way up, where they bought it won't change. I live in the least populated suburb of the cities and am still less than 20min from downtown. My next door neighbor has three horses for god's sake. Fuckin' idiots. Hopefully this couple is a bit smarter.

Not trying to be mean but realistic before you invest a lot of money into something that doesn't work. The last thing we want is for you to not be happy, but you are going down a futile road and need to change your path. There is a ton of knowledge here, but you are doing your best to bypass it and aren't going to be satisfied which is what we are trying to prevent. It would really be prudent to take a step back and perhaps share your goals so that we can better discuss what you should be using instead of trying to make something that doesn't do what you want try.
