  1. And because of that, any company you think of that isn't there I can do a search and find somebody who knows somebody I know. I've been doing NVH Sales & Engineering Service work for the nearly 20 years and during that time have been employed by 2 of the 3 biggest NVH hardware companies there are. I'd be glad to help you network, but the more I know about what you've done, what you rock at and so on the better I can help.
  2. Ok. You should connect to me on linked in as well. Literally over 1000 NVH contacts in my network...

Regrettably no. Experienced that once....and have avoided asphalt like the plague.
  4. Give me some cities, areas or companies you like as well.
  5. Email me your resume...
  6. A ton of them. Both Any places you would like to move? Any particular NVH work you own atm?
  7. It's ok. I forgot
  8. Ah. Not much else there either. Which building are you in? *sorry for asking what I alread used to know
  9. Where are you living now? What companies are nearby? Let me know and I can network some. Pretty much nearly related to the whole industry
  10. I just went through my closet yesterday and used the same rule with one exception. There were some clothes I hadn't seen in 2 years and didn't know that i had that I like better than what I was wearing. Ugh, organization. 2 year rule will never work in teh garage.
  11. Hell my mom saved ALL my toys from when I was little....and the boxes they came in. My kids were spoiled from day 1.
  12. Me too, I am a pack rat when it comes to saving stuff.
  13. Clear it out. Then come here and list my pile of why the fuck do I still own that??
  14. Not instantly, but the brackets are in the mail which is the last piece I need for the install.
  15. So does "bass" lol
  16. JL returns to the big ugly
  17. While that is true. The Note is $100 more than the Apple Iphone 6+ and includes a 256gb card in that. Seems in line since it is 10x the phone.
  18. First need to see if it is the subs or the amp: 1) DMM VC 2) Apply another voltage source to the subs (battery can work, audio is better) If those are both okay it is upstream from the subs most likeyl.
  19. Exactly why I used the word can. In the food word for instance, if someone thought that it was an achievement that a city had great places to eat that were exclusively: Applebees, TGIF, Chilis, etc. then the can would disappear. Obviously the extrapolation works well beyond food and while someone could have the stance that those places are cultural I would consider that laughable. Then with that person the can would be an impossibility. No way Seth & I are that far apart. I also love geological travel, but would point out that you can travel and enjoy culture without having dick to do with people as long as you mean the present tense.

Sorry you had to learn that way. Even worse is that it sucks at deadening too. To make you feel better I have seen worse doing test work for the oe's in their deadening application. Crazy what some manufacturers try to do to save money.
  21. Nobody has used it successful for measuring clipping on music on any stereo ever.
  22. For music it won't. It will be better than the smd pos but it is pointless. Songs can be recorded more than 10db apart which gain wise is a MONSTER change. Stop reading on smd, it isn't teaching you anythingm

    Nice.
  24. Ah, the blinking light tool is the biggest waste in car audio. The person selling it the most shady bitch ever. Only cares about his wallet. An Oscope is one million times more useful, but it is still irrelevant for "clipping". If this clipping is related to something in particular or a particular goal then that could be different. Nothing that SMD manufacturers is worth buying. Nothing.
