4 ohm home reciever
Perhaps an older NAD as well. Not positive they will all support 4 ohms, but I would sure think so. Again separates is the trouble. I personally don't know of any integrated solution that is 4 ohm happy, but would imagine that any receiver that has a/b outputs might be a possibility. *cringes

Welcome to the IHoP
Anyone have any terminal blocks they are no longer fond of? I'd like 1/0 to 4 gauge in both power and ground. I don't really need them for the install re-work I am doing but will for the next step so I thought why not get them now.

Tape razor blades to your dogs tongue and let him go at 'em.

4 ohm home reciever
You can always build a passive pre and just use an amp.

install is the key. if your stage is around your ankles you need to play with different aimings and mountings. if that is your only problem with the current drivers I would spend the money on improving your install instead of buying new drivers.

4 ohm home reciever
Does it really have to be integrated? The reason I ask is that the Adcom amps will do just fine with that load and you can find them pretty cheap everywhere.

What to look for in an SQ sub
Install is the key. To me a good substage is useless in an SQ install if you haven't done your homework to blend it with the front stage. All sorts of bass drivers are fine, but the integration and install will make a huge difference in the final product.

How the eff do you hit a car on a bike. Sorry for the trouble. Beautiful work on the box, I love the baffle, port, bracing, and flare. A+

What is your front stage? Post some pics of your install since you stomped, we'd love to see it.

installation of a crappy capacitor?
You're right about the remote wire. I hooked the rem wire up to a golden colored screw behind the digital display. Now it shows the voltage. Odd that this information was excluded from the installation instructions. Anyways, like I said, I am using it since it's been sitting around doing nothing. Seems to filter the sound a little better for the fronts as I didn't bother hooking it up to the sub amp. Thanks for the help. *coughs, "bullchit"
