Welcome to the IHoP
I have almost ordered a set of those a few times, not sure where I put them but most likely in the kicks in the truck with a passive to the LPG.

42" is a long ways down, did you raise your seats??? I am not sure I could get them that low in my truck, but I do tend to underestimate my size sitting down. Surprisingly no , The damn seats sit way up off the floor. There is like 8" of clearance underneath the seats. Was toying with the idea of mounting a 10" under each seat at one time Under arse tens would be sweet.

Yep , what you want to know ? How do you think the vertical dispersion is? I'm trying to decide between these (cheeep) or going the expensive route (planars). Are you doing a line array with them? Yar. It might be worth buying an ND20 to test, since they have such a small faceplate and are so cheap it might be an option. I have not heard one yet, the next time I order from PE I am going to get a pair for chits and gigggles.

alot?? lol, i'm sure it's been measured before, i'm certian of it...time for google...lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 180db = 20000Pascal = 2.9PSI But it isn't the pressure that causes problems but the dynamic pressure changing. To give you an idea, Boeing uses 180-185db to mechanically stress metal to failure. This is the reason HT guys really build the piss out of their enclosures so that the energy built in the box causes no coloration or resonant energy to be added to the signal. Thanks! When I finally get around to building my little home speakers I will do a resonant measurement and post a video for you all. It will be a while though since I might move first. Ohh, sweet. I'm very interested in this. Excuse me for forgetting, but you are going to KSU in Manhattan no? I might have to do a measurement on some pistachio's there sometime this fall, if so maybe we can even measure your speakers. I can't promise anything yet as my job title could change drastically in the next couple of weeks but eh, wtf?

Not for getting into a college. FL schools are retarded obviously. Just the public schools it seems. Of course what I meant

X2 but maybe you don't aspire to go to a college that would care?

should i go active or bigger 4channel?
I'd talk to Flakko. There are two types of refurbs. 1) All new amp in an old case--luckily the case and heatsink are pretty much the most expensive part of the amplifier so when they die they might get swapped out And the second type is what manufacturers refurb and let go to chit box internet sites 2) Part of the power supply died, one FET. Normally these are all matched, but when they refurb they won't be. This will cause the "weakest link" to fail considerably faster than if it were a new matched set. My guess from all the hate on Ike is that they get the chit refurbs and I wouldn't want one at all. You have been on a budget the whole time with your install and tend to ignore advice though so buy what you will. If it were me I'd spend the little extra money on the US. To draw an analogy, the most expensive amps I have are the ones that I don't use and those were cheaper to begin with. Think of this a little more long term than today and the XT will seem much cheaper.

Indeed, in fact I would argue that you should tune your baffle to a frequency close to the standing wave frequency of your vehicle. You could easily turn your 12" sub into a (insert baffle size here) sub since the whole thing will radiate, and if you tune it right it will radiate in phase. Feasibly you could gain lots of deebeez doing this. For SQ your statement stands, resonances are bad. If I had any intention of running SPL I would tune my box as stated, the only hard part is measuring the response to make sure you are right on...luckily that is what I do for a living.

Oh come up my way and we can bypass the splash and go. I've pretty much never been out and not gotten stuck, in fact I consider that the goal and I don't mean by doing something gay like stop moving in a mudhole either.

Original Crunch
The closest I have to that is my FRP150 from 1989 or 90 I don't remember when I bought it exactly.
