Depends on what you consider an econobox... if you concider a Civic one, then by all means... But, a Neon is one of the most popular low budget weekend race vehicles out there, was when it was released and continues today. I consider a Civic one and a Neon, just definetely not Scott's. On the same note you could make a Yaris fast, but it would still be lame.

How did you fit?? I drove one for a week back when they first came out when my old car was stolen, I couldn't drive it for more than 20 min before my knee cramped up from having to drive with my knees around the steering wheel. I didn't get into it, I put it on.

And no, I haven't driven one but my Uncle's brother has an Echo which I have. The Yaris is sort of a refined Echo, but holy crap was the Echo a POS. He loaned it to me the last time I was near DC to drive around. I used Uncle's brother instead of Uncle since you guys know of his car collection and I find it amusing he drives AMG's & M's and his brother drives an Echo.

I was actually trying to be nice and use the third person more than anything. I just think little econoboxes are teh dumb. People buy them because they are cheap, but for the same money over time you could drive a 1999 Audi A6 or other similar vehicle that would be a lot nicer. Scott--your car is NOT an econobox. Two other sides of the girl comment above is that no-one really would/should be proud of that car. It is a cheap, teeny, barely form of transportation. I don't even understand why someone would buy one if the price of gas was $6. The other side is not picking up the girl, but making sure once you have one she can be proud of you. The picking up is easy...

Imagine a group of girls you know sitting around and talking, what you won't hear is "oh that Chris, I really love his car." If you buy one.

Just had the woman drop her Audi A6 off at an $89 brake pad and rotor refinish special (we are selling the car), they called and said $800 for pads and rotors. I told them to stick it. I can do it for $140.
