Any of you ever done an approxiamate 8th order roll off with a cauer elliptical crossover (aka a notch and a 4th order LR together)? I want some monster MB for a small cabinet and am thinking of doing a 2 way with a Dayton 225, but since it doesn't play high and most tweets don't like to play that low I am going to need a seriously steep rolloff on my crossover.

Depends on your goals, if it were me its an easy decision I'd go with the Rlp's but I know my goals...

sorry, was really contemplating building a set of small omni sort of speakers for a buddy of mines deck. trying to do something for under 100. i just like to have the next project or two planned...

Thinking of scrapping the outdoor project for later and instead building bookshelves for my office. Seems like more instant gratification to me.

Found out that my diffuser cone does not have to be parabolic, in fact a straight cone works just as well. It should make it easier to make. Paper cone and some plaster and bam.

What is the smallest "full range" folded horn you guys have seen?

I screwed mine in with sheetmetal screws, but made the error of putting it on the outside instead of the inside making it a real beyotch to put the door skin back on.
