Welcome to the IHoP
Sales steps done by a proficient salesperson: 1) Sell yourself -- includes of course basic relationship building 2) Sell your company 3) Sell the product In an hour sales process step 1 should take 45 minutes, step 2 ten minutes, and step 3 about 5. They should be ready to buy based on 1&2 otherwise you aren't doing it right. If car salespeople did this, there wouldn't be such a bad general consensus on that as a career path.

For me it depends on what you sell. At this point in my career, I only want to sell the best which is the most expensive. If you aren't selling on price, then you have other reasons why people buy and don't have to be unfaithful or a dick to do it. It is easy to take the high road with the best product

The industry is bad and attracts chit fvcks. Myself, I always treated people fairly and honestly because I don't know how to do it differently. I would rather lose a sale then lie. In my current business that is super important...

Welcome to the IHoP
Bringing back memories man I was one hell of a saleman as a child . My teachers swore I was gonna grow up to be a car salesman . In the second or third grade ( mom's not around to ask ) I was facinated by electricity. one day after about 5 or 10 minutes of persuasion I convinced a class mate that sticking his keys in the wall outlet would make the lights go out and we could leave school early. He acted kind of scared at first and shove one of his keys in the hole. He was surprised it didn't shock. Then he happily and rather quickly stuck in the other Besides wetting his pants and a bad hair do , no harm came to him . But I sure got my arse handed to me a couple times that day Same thing was said about me, of course my first post college job was selling cars. LOL.

You could wear these when you drive: http://www.airwareamerica.com/index.asp?Pa...PROD&ProdID=121 Even though knocking out more than 23dB would even be better.

I used to have a 30' Sundancer, but only owned half of it. Since I sold it 7 years ago I have been looking for a replacement. Hopefully by next year I can afford one.- I/S 4065 Bridged @ 3 ohm?
I still "think" its probably going to be okay as long as you are gentle....but with no I/S experience you shouldn't listen to me. Anyone used one of these at a lower impedance?- Welcome to the IHoP
know? you taking notes from Chris again?- Welcome to the IHoP
Chit, we got nearly 15,000 lakes and you still have to fight for a hole.- Welcome to the IHoP
Nah, gotta go neck style . Tub it and dump a 302 or 351 in it. And race against the guys with the blown dusters But that isn't cheap and easy, plus your drivetrain will outweigh the car. Neck style indeed, but slapping a Pinto engine in a VW is pretty neckish as well. Just a slightly more dignified neck <---oxymoron- Welcome to the IHoP
Had another thought for the "omni" build I am thinking of. Going with a 2/3" full range and an 8" woofer for the sub 300Hz. Would solve the issue of not having the tweeter and 7" driver completely on axis with the diffuser.- Welcome to the IHoP
