help with crossovers
A loud single horn would keep up with 4 MT's. And the electronic crossover would be significantly cheaper in my book. By the time you buy all the components and flatten the impedance response of the drivers you are going to have ching in with that many driver. If it were me, a pair of XLS 8's and some horns is what I would do to keep up.

I had thought about adding a write up to my truck install, but that assumes that I have already finished the tuning, lol. I need to get the stupid adapter to allow my analyzer to input into the hu since it didn't come with RCA's. Of course my method won't be "basic" but would cover the info anyway.

I just thought it would be wicked in a single amp.

help with crossovers
Wow that is a lot of drivers. You can't even come close to doing that passive unless you want a headache from hell. What is your budget and do you need eq as well?

I'd take either, or for the same money a big arse four channel and a mono block. Does anyone make a front stage amp? I'd love something like 200wx2@4 and 50wx2@4 in one amp with nothing else, unless you want to add a 1000wx1(at 1). That would be sweet.

Amp crossover and component crossover
Messing with the interaction of the tweeter and mid might be dangerous since the Z6 crossover is pretty well optimized for what you are doing. Raising or steepening the slope of the high pass on the woofer, however could really raise your power handling and keep bass dynamics from overdriving the bottom end on the Bostons under high spl. You may find it blend better or worse with your sub as you adjust it. As for the set it and forget it, I must have changed my crossover spots and each channel sensitivity 10 times yesterday. For me even when its dialed in, I like to hear how it is if I change it. After a month or so of doing that I will probably have it in a more stable position.

Copyright. Good luck homie! Hope it's not the RIAA. Not the RIAA...it has to do with my SQ score sheets. I doubt its true...the sorce is not reliable and I havent received a cease and disist... Spelling>me It usually ends there as long as you cease.

Sweet, if the pyramid doesn't work I will fab a fg diffuser and replace that shelf. Makes me feel better that other companies, even if it is blose are doing something similar. In my case it doesn't have to be super omnidirectional as the deck isn't that big, but wanted to provide some music for the yard as well which is behind the deck...dipoles would add too much cost and complexity for something that is going to rot outside. Sean, I've got an idea on how to do the FG mold put a single wooden dowel at the center of that bottom board and attach fleece around the edges, but not real tightly. then pour resin all over it and the weight of the resin should pull it down into a semi-parabolic-ish shape and presto, FG mold might work, might not, i dunno Good idear That sounds easier than making it out of wood I love you guys.
