No, not really. You really have no idea where i live do you. Does the name LAKE City have any meaning of substance? There are more lakes withing a 10mi radius of me than rivers in FL also... I mean we have an amazing 3 "big" Rivers. St. John, Suwannee, and Santa Fe. Right off the top of my head 4 lakes within 10mi are wakeboardable. the "best" lake is the only well known spring fed lake with in the north florida area. It has 3 public boat ramps and 2 privet (military, so not really privet). There for it is loaded with boats. As far as you trying to bash me likeing wakeboarding... nothing more epic than 3 guys and a boat, 8:30PM with a georgous orange sunset on the river (and the river is only ~100yds wide) river is like glass and you're out having fun wakeboarding. There really isnt anything to do behind a boat besides wakeboard that qualifies to me as fun. If you even mention slalom skiing i will laugh because that is the stipidest thing next to tubeing. Lets go out and see how short of a rope we can get around 6 buoys with. I tried it, and though a challenge, it was rather boring. Wakeboarding, on the other hand, is my way of just relaxing and doing something enjoyable. There is no set, turn here, do this, make this. Just having fun. When you get an open mind to what others enjoy maybe you will understand. BTW...i dont know how many lakes have had a song written about them. http://www.50states.com/midi/0fl.mid Dude, until now I thought the only thing retarded about you was your spelling now I know better. I have been to Lake City and whatever, FL ain't got nothing you do realize that I live in MN right? And bashing slalom skiing is amusing, next you will wipe barefooters, and you never asked I wakeboard weekly BEYOTCH!! Done it on rivers, lakes, ditches, pretty much will ride anything. I could almost be your dad and have ridden behind boats since I was 4, so shut it.

Eff 'em, not much better than fishing for big smallies. Well I prefer reds, but they don't grow near where I live.

I have about 5 really good fishing lakes within 10 miles of my house, not including one of the best in the US.

I do too much reading. And not enough listening.
  6. I'd do at least 4, I mean fudge you are already doing it make sure it is enough. Of course, I put about 14 layers in my sub enclosure but I might not be the one whose info you want to follow since overbuilding is my nature. As for the polyfill, fudge it just put some sort of porous open cell structure behind the driver and you will be more than fine. Ensolite works well.....
  7. I'd worry more about the car tuning than a few cubic inches of port. You are talking SPL not SQ.
  8. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Not that many natural lakes around here either, only about 14,500.

You need to get laid more mang. I can help with that, just come visit me it will change your outlook. Simmer, perhaps that part is right anyway. Sitting here in GMBH has got me a bit wild, probably the copious amounts of alcohol....

Pull out the A game, but to keep yourself sane do it on the side while you tag something else. Make sure to follow up and play it fully, but keep all your eggs out of that basked. Not only will you be mentally more stable going after more than one, but I am sure she will be more receptive as it takes away a bunch of her power if she knows that you are desired by others as well. Time to play da game. I've got faith that you will win. i think you give the best advice i've ever had, honestly. Thanks mang, my phone is open if I can help you. Been around a bit and am pretty good at taking a step back. Hell that is what I get paid to do. All I want is it to work out for you.

Lakes > rivers. Incorrect. Lakes worth wakeboaring on have tons of boats on them most of the time. Lakes have wind, rollers travle across lakes. The river isnt inhabited in the morning or in the evening, no wind so no chop, and rollers break on the banks so its always glass. Also, the river is shalow enough to construct sliders with ease and you dont have to make it floating (PITA). River > Lake Take a trip with me to Arkansas I grew up on lake ouachita... You have seen my pics of my bass rod collections.....so you know I'd come to ouachita.

By definition if they are worth wake boarding then how can they have tons of boats. That is retarded. I have more options to wakeboard within 10 miles of my house than there are rivers in FL. Plus once you grow up and have pubes you will realize there is more to a lake than a wakeboard. That may "start" the fun for you but if that's all you get out of it I feel sorry for you.

I just ran out of time and with the truck install and fourth of July. I had my week and a half and didn't want to drag it out any longer. Maybe the car needs one on the tweets...
  20. A lot, in fact too much.
  21. You don't really need to make an IB installation feel bigger, but putting some acoustic sort of insulation to minimize reflections will be helpful. Mostly the area behind the speaker cone is what I'd worry about. Of course being captain overboard behind mine is 4 layers of Ensolite and a layer of acoustic foam. Open celled is better, but it will rot when it gets wet while a closed cell foam does less to dampen reflections it can't really mold as most are waterproof.

Oh come on, Pittsburgh Style, or to you Canadians Black & Blue, to me I'd call it extra rare. Of course depending on the cut, a little fattier cut like a ribeye really should be cooked more, perhaps rare.
