I've done that on canoe trips...cover 70 miles, try walking that back. been there before , Last year with a friend. We missed the take out by a mile or 20. Hopped a ride with dale earnhardts grandmother. Woman was driving 80mph on a road with a 15mph speed limit Sounds scary and fun all at the same time. Have to say I did the same thing the last time I rented canoes. They said 4 hours and you will see the pickup, well at 4 hours I was more than 10 miles past the pickup. We went until the next town, hitched a ride, called them and told them to pickup their canoes.
