Not at all, of course it has been a while since I was there but generally it is rather happy. The capital Kiev is beautiful, the city is more than 60% parks and the people are a lot more middle class then the rest of the old Soviet Union. There are a lot that are actually well off.

No real favorite in general, but favorite hike - Patagonia, Chile favorite place to eat - Paris, France favorite urban area for biking - Rotterdam favorite foreigners to get drunk with - Kiev, Ukraine and so on...

Depends on what you mean by different places. I flew 100,000 miles last year alone, and have been averaging driving over 60k for about 6 years. Needless to say a lot of local travel, but have been international as well.

Booo! The options for the Fiero are a built 2.8/3.1/3.8 with the best being the eff gas mileage 3.8. The ecotec is some GM marketing nonsense, it is just a normal modern motor. Maybe unusual for GM, but nonetheless nothing so special.
