  1. Yes, first hand. Still no idea what you want. Spending $100 on the fat box would be a serious waste of time, there is no cheating Physics. It is really rather easy to model and figure out the differences. No one on here hates on JL, just on the way you are asking something that is atm unanswerable.
  2. but I'd never say that nor recommend that.
  3. And MK, the phone holder is way more robust than my water bottle holder. Lost my water bottle 1mi into a 10mi ride tonight, was thirsty
  4. Good tunes for jumping off shit
  5. I did play some western, Johnny Hiland
  6. From George Clinton to Atom Heart Mother. Next up Miles
  7. I am super glad you expedited my stupidity in finally parting with my money. And thanks for doing all the research and then thinking I did
  8. I am curious to try the mic on them. Also curious to jerry rig some removable windscreen so I can bike and work at the same time.
  9. I was uber pissed I cheaped out. Now I am not. I will NEVER listen to yours.
  10. If you don't love yours, I will literally shit.
  11. The lackluster bass response in the demo is 10000% resolved. The demo you received will be SMOKED by your own. That is the biggest understatement I have ever made on the site.
  12. How is this for a start. First time I noticed the Shure 57 on the toms is too close. That and my wife just came down and spoke to me. Listening volume is on 1/3 or so on my G4 and I heard NOTHING she said.
  13. Detailed review? I am on song 5.
  14. ....but that could be a little memory difficulty. Have to do some A/B.
  15. Even embarrass the cans.
  16. I feel like an idiot for ever building a car or home stereo.
  17. First album - America Eats its Young All I can say is Wow!
  18. What do you have them in now and what do you want to improve? The only way anyone can help you is to model a 13w7...which would be best if you did yourself. To me it sounds like you are exactly the customer JL posts its box recommendations for. If you are unwilling to do the above then follow their recommendation. The only way to learn what sounds better is to reflect on what you have so that when you make a change you know what caused it. The box here is like the rears. Don't just unplug them, but learn why/how. Same in the box. You have an opportunity to make yourself way more knowledgeable, personally I'd take it.
  19. Again tear the roof off ia a fart canon, playing music a flat response. What compromise do you want?
  20. And an audio box at that!
  21. I love boxes
  22. Lifting the ass is weight dependent, the front geometry. I use clipless pedals which help, but have no problems getting a couple feet off the ground with flat pedals as well. Twist your wrists and rock you weight forward, the ass will follow.
  23. To me the most important spec is stack. I need the bars up high as I am not flexible and my legs are so damn long that fitting on a normal bike I end up with my bars 8" below my seat which is NOT comfortable. For you with a long torso reach would be. Sure slackness effects the overall reach, but just having a long distance from the Bottom Bracket to the bars will be huge in you not feeling cramped. You like downhill bikes, they are slack... CS you will notice more on flat ground when you try to pull up the front wheel.
