As for the weight, supposedly my car is extremely sensitive to rolling mass. Not sure why or how, but all of the "in the know" people on the M5 board recommend staying with 17's exclusively for that reason.

Bugatti rims, those sound cheap. Hard to find 20/22mm offset with a 5x120mm in an 18x9 that weighs less than 21 lbs.

Even the really old bimmers do. Replacement sensor is only $5.40, on my old Q45 it was like $200 stupid Japanese cars.

Na, my internet connection. The VPN died and wouldn't restart, I went to the spa and sat in the steam room, came back and it is fine! The bimmer is near 100% though(brake pad warning light on but the parts are sitting on my workbench)

As TF said it could be either way. It depends on your crossovers, how they are wired, your amps, and how they will be wired once run active. It should be within 3dB either way. Active will give you a lot more flexibility though and perhaps the ability to drive your speakers harder yielding more sound. You did not give us nearly enough information to really help you.

Yep, I can ping yahoo.com but can't view it in IE, FF, or Opera. On the same note, I can "tunnel" direct to our server and logon somehow. I have had internet access and no VPN before but never the other way around.

Doesn't actually work real well, but at least its internet and faster than using my dang phone to connect at 115.

Woah, do I have a slow connection. Get this, I am at a hotel in San Jose, CA and can't connect to the internet but our VPN works so I am surfing the web remotely in LA on our server but viewing it here. How the hell does that make sense.
