V's are always harder to work on and ARE NOT intrinsically balanced and NEED balance shafts. Straight sixes do not need a balance shaft to be internally balanced. IMO V6's are always a bad idea I6, V4 and V8 however are great.

Are you doing the install or is that part of the $2k, because if you are paying for install $2k isn't much money. If you want it to be loud outside your car, mount your speakers on the outside of your car--too bad it won't sound good in your car if you do that.

It's actually 2 sheets of plexi One with red LEDs, the other with green. Wow the rack is awesome, the two tone LED looks great as well. Buy the cheap battery, Interstates are a lot better than you would expect.

I will stick with what I stated before; however, there is a big difference between gross volume and net volume and you haven't clarified what you are using. Also, everything is not just linear you can't go making assumptions like you are as mathematically they don't work. It sounds to me like your help at the "audio shop" you refer to does not know what they are doing and if you want your sub to sound its best my recommendation would be to scrap the box you have and pay NeonRyder for plans for one that will work. That nominal investment will save you a bunch of time, make your sub sound the best, and costs way less than it is worth. Having the wrong box for a sub = teh svck!

Sounds familiar, when I did my glass work I killed my battery three times. I finally gave up and disconnected it. Sort of hard on those things going to 0 volts, but sometimes sacrifices are made for the good.

Alright here is my dliemma. I have an office in the room next to my living room. Recently I moved my desktop pc into the office closet (well ventilated) and ran a monitor cable into my living room where a wireless keyboard/mouse and my lcd are. In my office I have a laptop and docking station. Since the computer is now in the office I would like to make the monitor and keyboard in my office be able to control both computers so that I can burn CD's, rip music, and just generally be able to get at the box without running back and forth. My thought was to go to a KVM switch, as there are some cheap ones from Newegg for like $15. The problem that I am having is that my Razer optical mouse is USB only and these are set up for PS2. I was under the impression that I could use a USB to PS2 adapter but can only find them in the PS2 to USB variety and not the other way around. Does anyone know where I can find one of these and if it will work??
