  1. Tweeter pod picks. And yea, I probably should have painted these flat but it is what I had...couple little spots too, but will install tomorrow and see how she looks. I am sure the picture would be better with drivers, but I don't want to mung the paint while it is still so soft.

steel wool takes it off F scrubbing.
  6. Thanks for the slashes and the compliment. Just to give Flakko props though, it was his writeup that made me think that I could do fiberglass custom work. Did my sub first since it is in the trunk, this is glass project #2!
  7. I wish, then the "relief" cut in the dead pedal would have to be 2x the size of the grill instead of just the size. I'll use black screws and they will be by my feet anyway. If I find 7" grills later the problem will be solved. Those were only like $5 ea from Madisound.

Oh and if you mean clean tub like in your bathroom, an electric won't budge that skum. Need More Power.

Long hose. I bought three 50' sections when they were closing them out at Northern Tool, somethin' like a $12ea (normally a lot more), but it lets you go anywhere with it. 2600 is not enough to clean gutters with a narrow tip, 3000 is....

Sorta high from painting my tweeter pods. The flat black I had on hand was dried up so I painted them glossy testers black. See how they look tomorrow before I decide if I want to paint over them flat. Will post pics in an hour or so when they are dry.

I know you don't want gas, but I have a 2600psi gas and it isn't enough for doing most other things. Even with a skinny tip it isn't too strong for washing cars, I'd get one that is way bigger than you think you need.
  12. I am waiting for a little bodyworkpatch on the tweets to dry before I paint them. Going to try and make them flat black first and see how that looks as I have the paint. Here are the kicks ready to be installed. The portion of the drivers side on the top left will be covered by the hood release and the other top is actually under the level of the underdash covering so I wasn't too anal about making it nice since you won't see it and I don't have lots of patience. The other bummer is in order to use the grills that I found I have to put screws all the way through on the driver side since I didn't lower the dead pedal enough to not be in the way, I was originally planning on using 7" grills but couldn't find any. I had to recess it into the pedal. Here are pics.

I was under the impression that Gateway went under about 1.5 yrs ago. Out of business/sold to someone else. They had closed their SD research anyways

  17. hahaha good story. its funny when you outbump someone, they always wanna race you afterwards That is funny too, I would always rather race because I know my system sounds better and I am not going to invite some small peckker azz into my car to hear my system, but I am going to give him a decent look of my trunk.

Its ridiculous, can have way more maching for half... Just realized it was a laptop, but for 1/3 the money you could build a desktop that smoked it completely including a 19" flat.

I think you have to find out the hardway with port noise. Had the great idea to put 3 1500gti's in one box--in the 90's mind you--then after listening to it sealed for a while I ported it. 3" port wasn't enough nor was there enough volume in the box so I capped it. Perfect way to show somone the benefits or a real box
