  1. Nice use of quotes, lol
  2. Unless that fuck was something more personal in which case
  3. Definitely not.
  4. Insert other media button works though.
  5. Img tags don't work?

  7. Ok, something wrong with the software in how it is dealing with that link... Try this one http://s3.caradvice.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/2016_hsv_gen-f2_02a_maloo-r8_01.jpg

  9. If you need a bed, you need one of these! http://resources.carsguide.com.au/styles/cg_hero_large/s3/hsv-gen-f2-maloo-ute-2015-(1).jpg
  10. Then you aren't looking at a truck.
  11. It's way better. A few things to get used to, but sweet!
  12. Farfromgroovy
  13. Perfect world I'd use a turbo for anything though. You just have to make up for the low end up higher, lol
  14. Heavy truck is more fun with it hotter on the low end though. Fuel economy is going to suck no matter what. Your right foot will insure that.
  15. I appreciate the link though. Makes me think of a pertinent question. Is there a brand of DD headunit that has an interface anyone really likes? I am pretty up to speed on the XML programming needed to alter mine now and it is time for an upgrade. Bummer I did realize is that I don't have enough contrast on my screen to run the colors I want during the day, means I get to rip different views though.
  16. If I were going to replace the headunit in any car ever again in my life it will be with a computer. An Android is a computer, although for what is available to do that with I am still picking the pc. I would assume that will change in the next couple years though. We'll see. If I keep driving GM's then it won't as HP Tuners won't run on one, nor will miniDSP software.
  17. That isn't a truck. Missing a pumpkin up front.
  18. That only works with aftermarket hu though right? If I could just get the damn mylink "monitor" to work with a pc I'd have that and a lot more
  19. And of course there is a huge part of me that wants a fully warrantied car again for that reason. Beat the fuck out of it ALL the time and not give two shits.
  20. Not saying I regret building mine, but the problem with ANY performance car/truck or whatever is that you own it for a while and it no longer feels quick. What was once nasty becomes tame. That feeling does NOT help the gas mileage, lol
  21. Better advice is however to keep your truck as a beater and buy a fun/fast car. Daily driving a truck is an exercise in stupidity. Making a pig fly is even worse. And yes, I surely do both. Horribly stupid. Fit a niche I needed at the time. In 10 months I am going to retire the Escalade to towing/winter duty and it will fill that niche MUCH better than the DD one.
  22. As for the other associated mods. I'd personally look for a 4.8 truck and save on the front end if you were doing a turbo. More displacement just equals a larger turbo so it doesn't get choked which then puts you in the ridiculous hp range for efficiency on the turbo. A 4.8 will comfortable spin 700+hp which is enough to start wrecking everything else on the truck if you drive like an asshole. If you do one on a 6l80 truck TUNE the tranny WITHOUT removing the torque management. A 4l80 will be quicker though and is a better platform for the build. $1k and bombproof. Makes the power hogging Allison the oil burners use look ridonkulous.
