  1. If they are wired right which isn't all that hard, the problem is how you are setting your gain and using your volume knob.
  2. Except you'd still be in a prius.
  3. Damn rear air compressor pooped again. Not even 2 mo old. Stupid GM "quality"
  4. It's a boat that is fast on land .... Or at least mine is.
  5. get an escalade
  6. And you live in traffic hell comparatively
  7. First thing I'd do is make your box smaller. Fill it with something. At the same time, describe the noise you are hearing please.
  8. Ha, I was just thinking of going back to one for my daily. I miss it.
  9. Mine has been upgraded a ton, just no bass.
  10. Yeah, sweat I am going to click on that!!!
  11. That makes me both laugh and cry at the same time. I don't really need subs.....but I need more than the 7" Seas can do for me. Fixing that with 8's and full rangers is a time commitment. Adding 2 little JL 10's in my window and a candy bar an hour and bam.
  12. The ease of installation would make me order up a stealthbox pronto.
  13. Anyone been eyeing/tried one of those candy bar sized sub amps yet?
  14. I listened to my tweets alone today. I need about two hours of un bothered time to nail down my tune...as everything I had I scrapped. Fresh install ftmfw. Pc processing in cash rocks. I wouldn't need 2 hours if the minidsp software would scale better. Hard to hit stuff on it while driving.
  15. I couldn't find them either. I have an adcom remote though if you know of someutility to translate it.
  16. Thanks to the original neo tweeters from the late 80's I used to think I hated metal tweets as well. What I realized a while back is that I hate tweeters that are designed like shit, not metal. That all being said, generally speaking there are more crappy metal tweeters on the market, but when looking at a quality piece I would let the material sway you too much. Do yourself a favor. Listen to the ID ones you have crossed over like they will be in your truck ( or better yet mounted there) on their own. At 4k+ the lack of material will probably shock you. Will put some clarity into the budget and pricing of what you plan to use. I saved my Neo XT19's but not my LPG's. Only due to the fact that someone I knew wanted the LPG's. I also thought at that point I was going to blow out my collection, but just having some shit on hand when I need it is really useful. lol. ie, I would have kept the 25nfa's in hindsight.
  17. A brighter screen would get me REALLY excited. Almost thinking of foregoing resolution to get there. It is a touch interface that you can't concentrate hard on while driving so it has to be easy. Small shit is impossible to hit.
  18. I'm really starting to like the car pc. Not setup how I want it exactly, but the XML is getting way easier to negotiate. Problem is everytime I do something to fix how it looks I realize I can do something else and want to change up the design. Trying to decide now what information on need on what screen, how many screens and how many button presses can I deal with to get to where I want to go. Think the programmer is going to add rotary support too which opens up way more automation.
  19. Will you know any better once you have a set? Curious what you are looking at. I should buy a set myself.
  20. How do you listen to a ton of custom ite? The mold makes a big difference on the frequency response....
  21. Ha this time you mean h1189's. I have a set of those downstairs. Way better than the neo counterparts but not superb off axis.
  22. Ha. Boiling water on tap here. Hard to fuck that up.
  23. The metal LPG is great. Don't let material sway you. You've just heard bad metal tweets. *25nfa is the one I've owned. I don't quite understand your choices as none are really similar. Considering your location, off axis is the primary concern I'd have not a secondary. IMO, the 27TDFC is the most over rated forum boner Seas product there is. Sure, budget friendly small format that can dig but it doesn't do anything all that well. If I only had to pick off your list I'd grab the XT19 hands down. It has no balls, but will be easy to integrate with the CA in your doors. Only tweeter on your list I haven't owned is the CAT308 and my T25 was a prev gen, but either way. You also don't need to spend $200 on tweets. Your location doesn't really bode well for perfect imaging so work on getting the off axis frequency response as nice as you can. SInce you are all over the board, have you looked for used ones? Your doors come off in 5 minutes so swapping is easy. May be worth upgrading to something to figure out where you lack and then shopping. A reference point is always helpful.
  24. Ha. If you don't want ice you don't need a rocks glass.
