  1. For half the price I can run a USB unit and just use a laptop/tablet. Just ordered an SX from Amazon, thanks Sean. Glad to help. That is the one all the guys who embed them in their cars use, so it'll work. And won't be uber slow like the BAFX or other units.
  2. Funny thing is they look bigger in person. I am going to have a hard time driving anything without real brakes again. These embarass the AMG.
  3. <-- cheap ass
  4. Along with a right angle OBD splitter. Carpc becomes even cooler now. Not sure why I didn't do this earlier lol
  5. Ryan, I'd personally buy the OBDLink....in fact since you reminded me I am ordering the SX tonight. You'll obviously need a wireless one, but I'll just find another USB port
  6. Look at that dirty paint!! Rain followed by a sweet gravel road construction bypass ftmfw!
  7. Salt No "strut" And yep, took no picture of the fresh front put in, lol
  8. Meats ...can now stick to the road with some fresh shocks & compressor/dryer
  9. Captain oblivious strikes again. He knew exactly what I was stating. I've killed 3 btw
  10. ...but do that job until they break
  11. cheap ones last nearly no time
  12. Bring on the 49'ers
  13. 6'11 and alive at 97? Nice, i have hope!
  14. Walking at 97 would be great. We just buried my Great Aunt this week. She was more of a grandma than an Aunt. Made it to 102 though which is nutso. At 97 she also was mobile. Still mowed her own lawn at that point. We miss you Audre!
  15. If I use a SPDT switch then the computer will either be powered on 100% of the time or by the retained accessory power. The only time I'll use the switch is when the car is off. This way to shut it off I have to throw the switch so it'll go back to the RAP power. It is just the "remote" on I am toggling, not the actual power. That is connected 100% of the time.
  16. Any SPDT ought to work, I hadn't thought about using it backwards lol.
  17. Ok, now I feel stupid. Nice. That eliminates me accidentally keeping it on too.
  18. That is how it switches on now. Sucks for troubleshooting since I have to start the car or put it on accessory. I'd like a switch I can just flip to turn it on, but don't want to power the whole accessory power chain in the car.
  19. Anyone have any recommendations for diodes? I want to provide a switch to power my carputer but not fire up the rest of the car. Figure if I directionally isolate the incoming power that is off the ignition then I can just add a direct switched wire to the battery. I know I can just buy a diode off Amazon and wire it in, but thought maybe there was a prettier solution from a wiring perspective.
  20. He only had 3 minutes, not long enough for a drive but the favor was a nice
  21. Not the first time
  22. Figures the Caddy got GM'd. Autostart no longer works Rear shock crapped, compressor as well Front autoride throwing errors so it crapped to. Yay, GM quality strikes again!! Pretty soon I'll have an all new truck though.
  23. If not that would be real embarassing for you. And it'll still be an ugly ass camaro.
  24. Yep I saw the first page and knew mullets were coming
  25. V6 Camaro?
