The wood bracket is flush with the opening.

It is inset at the top, but only a bit. Not so noticeable. The whole screen is low by a 1/4" or so as my AFR gauge took a bit more space than I had originally thought and I need to do some trimming. That will happen later. Whipple time today.

Closed cell foam in between the rattling surfaces is what you need.

Number of drivers is irrelevant, but spacing is. Not from driver to driver but from any driver to any driver. The results in a car with a sub will not match the equation though.
