  1. I have an LG Onstar/Handsfree package in the truck. Can I just remove it without ill effects? I'd like the real estate. LG 20829984 Any idea?
  2. Oh and stock grommet ftmfw
  3. A stainless cooking surface is nice, but you just need a small layer
  4. Just a clarification. I never said anything positive about plain old stainless cookware.
  5. Can easily run a bigger ground out elsewhere, but this was a simple install so to battery they both will go.
  6. I didn't need the bigger size, but it was all I had for power and I barely had enough for ground.
  7. And since I didn't shop that means I have a bigger power wire than ground
  8. Got my least favorite part of any install done. Battery is wired into the truck.
  9. Nein. Of course the caveat being that is stove related. The cast will burn better. Cast pretty much defeats the purpose of a gas range. All of your ability to modulate heat is gone. When you don't want to modulate of course that can be an advantage. This also means when you don't have enough heat it will sear better, but that is due to a deficiency of the stove not a benefit of the pan. Wait..... I think cast actually radiates heat harder than stainless... Sears NY steak like a boss! Also hurtful comment about the coocktop bro. :'-( Radiation isn't the need, transmitting is. Cast is a big ole capacitor for heat. Not ideal for cooking when you change temps. If you get it rip roarin' hot it will stay that way when you put cold food on it if your stove can't keep up.
  10. Hmm, I was going to use the stock covers but that takes work. THIS is easy. Have to figure out how to plug the two holes though. Any thoughts? And yes the picture is a 2'fer as you can see the stock Bose amp.
  11. Polk amp is same size as Bose lol. Free placement ftmfw.
  12. Ha, already too late. I did pull the abs fuse first though
  13. What is that slightly browned shit on the plate? Your eggs look pretty good, one is overcooked.
  14. I have a roll of RaMmatt what are you doing today, lol

  16. Found a syringe by the front seat bolt down nut....
  17. Just want to get the stock amp out as it is in a great location for me to mount my front stage amp.
  18. I can't seem to figure out how to unplug the seat, stupid GM connector. Probably should pull the airbag fuses too...
  19. Center console in the truck is dissassembled. Have to remove the fucking seats I think though as it is "stuck" Sucks because I have no deadening and am probably too lazy to pull them out again.
  20. It doesn't work on an Iphone? WTF, by far the best and easiest way to make playlists. Universal and can be exported to pretty much anything. My insanity has my music extremely organized by genre. As soon as my carputer is installed I plan to make "master" playlists that I'll rebuild everything else off of. My front end has a "like" button, actually a star, but whatever. Means that I can dynamically make playlists within genre's. Plan is to then just listen and mark as I drive down the road. At any point this can be imported/exported direct to winamp. Then those shortened playlists will be exported to my phone as it obviously cannot store 700+gb of mp3's. So, depends on what you are after.... And that is my no idea what version of winamp to recommend. Mine is old.
  21. I'd also like to know what my next car will be before I do that as well. If it is LS powered I may be more stupid about the size of the upgrade...
  22. At that point though it is transmission rebuild and not terribly far off from upgrading the short block. Both steps I want to avoid atm. Would like some tuning experience and understanding of what is good and bad before I slap in a few G's in motor.
  23. Wanted to start out with a more simple "bolt on". Obviously the next step is a cam and meth if I want more power.
  24. And Ryan, on your fuel concern I thought I'd point out one other thing. My car is equipped with a sensor that measures ethanol content and then it maps the AFR to it. Meaning it should auto correct for alcohol if I get some in. Obviously the fuel pump will then be more taxed which may be the only concern you were alluding to, but I wanted to clarify. I know there are a few people working on bandaids to use an external fuel pump without having the CEL on, but I figure I'll start out safe and when I realize I hit that wall address it.
  25. I just started to look, but mostly they are intro things trying to sell you a course which is why I asked.
