  1. Yes. Kill teh chrome. It's sort of all or nothing though. Ugh.
  2. Stock height it was AWFUL though
  3. I've also never owned a roots. Turbo and Centri but it's a first. Nearly bought an E55 and this ought to be even more fun.
  4. Twin screw baby! That thing will be more exciting with the low end stank from the screw. Unless you have the turbos tuned like a diesel. I know on my 550 the turbos kick in so slow and smooth it's barely something you can feel. You have to have the shift and the load both be in the wrong place to not have boost. Going to cost me another $5k on a tranny though....although that was probably a given either way. Not going to spend that money until I break it, but expecting it.
  5. Just also realized I haven't debadged it yet. There is just SO MUCH chrome on the damn thing
  6. How much lower would make removing the step acceptable?
  7. What truck?
  8. The Whipple also comes in a 2.9L vs the 2.3L Magna. Just don't want something super loud...in fact I'd rather not know it is there. If it is going to scream doing it at higher rpm is fine.
  9. My infatuation with keeping the rig "for a long time" is waning (imagine that lol). Figure that means a PD for FI makes the most sense as it is easily removed and either sold or repurposed.
  10. TVS or Twin Screw. Which is quieter. Follow up question, when I do headers and cat removal (for the track of course) how do I keep the truck as quiet as possible?
  11. Either way, I'd drill it
  12. My pre-emptive space comments were not necessary if I can't embed the picture here
  13. /\ crap can't figure out how to link that gif

  15. Would I lie in the hop?
  16. Seriously
  17. Dewalt ftmfw
  18. My legs are probably smaller than Matt's arms.
  19. suck all the air out of them. Wine bottle and a wine vacuum thing are a good thing to own and multi purpose for later Didn't realize you could vacuum them successfully, thought they produced some gas as they aged negating the vacuum seal. I've got a food saver thing and multiple wine vacuum things. Never seen them shrink wrapped in the store? Your comments are somewhat right though. They are still going to age, but less air is better. The beauty of the wine stopper is that you can keep pulling more out as often as needed and they DO help wine last too.
  20. Me too! I'm with you on the previous comment also. pretty sick of my shit ATM too. Could just go back into sales and have an easier life
