Is there a cost effective way to be rid of the chrome or turn it into black chrome? If it was truly rid, then I'd have to leave some. Plastidip isn't a long term enough solution.

If you don't use the Fi recone your T/S parameters will all change. Will mean that unless you own a woofer tester you will have no way of determining what an optimal box is.

If you think the RF PP 10's are acceptable as mids you will absolutely think the horns are the cats meow. Will put your mids to shame with the right tune on them.

And the nutso part about how bad those gloves are is that they weren't as warm as the nearly non-insulated ones. They don't breath and they don't insulate. Serious wtf.

Matt - I compared the Klim Elite, some non-insulated palm FXR with 100g of backhand insulation and the Cabela's gloves this weekend. Riding in worse than -40 windchill. Hands FROZE like hell with the handwarmers on HIGH with the Klim's. Put on the Cabela's and instantly had to turn down the handwarmers. FXR needed the handwarmers on high and the tip of my middle finger and thumb got cold (thumb warmer sucks) but they were WAY warmer than the Klim gloves. Amusingly my buddy who went wit me bought some of the Klim's before the trip. Wore them out, switched instantly to his old el cheapo North Face ski gloves and finally got warm. So this basically means we haven't found a colder glove than the Klim's.

Another couple hundred miles of pure fun. Wish we'd get the snow we have up North. Off trail it was over my waist and being 6'7" that is a nice amount of snow.

The whole "keep up" is a frickin joke, right? The hardest part of keeping up is ALWAYS the midbass. Let's just pick a target of 150dB and I'll give you an exercise of enlightment. Grab a Peerless SLS 8" in WinISD. Put it in a HUGE enclosure (to simulate IB, since you will use lots of them just put in 100x VAS to make sure). Then apply enough power to have it hit Xmax at 80Hz. Now figure out how many drivers per side and how much power it will take to hit a 150dB. If your overall SPL target is higher then of course use that. Now you'll see the futility. At this point now it comes down to what compromise you want to make. Also realize if you build this front stage and then use its capability expect to have significant hearing damage the first year you own the truck. Once you do that you'll know how to ask a question in a thread that will lead to some useful answers for you.
