Welcome to the IHoP v.2
FTMFW Ripped the full MN Snowmobile trails into a retired Garmin Nuvi today. Changed the color of the track to bright dark green to contrast the screen. Made them 3x the width of the interstate too. Figure it'll be hard to read in the glare of the snow.

New car : should I run the front speakers active ?
In the pass band region of the crossover when playing a sine wave you will get the output value you started with. At the crossover frequency it will be 3dB down Measuring an octave towards the cross over region will then net you the slope. (Double the f for HP and halve it for LP to find the octave)

Do yourself a favor and measure the passive crossovers you have before installing them. A starting point is a good thing for a first time active setup.

Does your headunit take care of the sub? If not, you'll need 2 miniDSP's. Each with an appropriate plug in. Don't forget the DC Isolator for $11. I am also keen on their volume knob as the bang for the buck says you should order it now even if you don't use it.

Only way caffeine does anything to me is if I drink a FUCKLOAD of it. Then I get jittery. Normally it makes me sleepy. One of the best signs you have ADD. ROFL. I didn't need caffeine to tell you that

older Q with newer Q
No. Okay, well it depends on what you mean by can. You "can" run a Kicker L7 with an Fi Q I suppose, just not a good idea. Anything that creates a difference in t/s parameters is a no no for drivers playing the same frequencies. Even worse if it shares airspace.

Grab some used Minolta glass and determine what you use the most.

If you shoot a non-superzoom and then a super you won't be interested in the super.

Do you mechanically dehydrate them? If so/not I am curious as to what you use. Also wondering if you separate the seed and more importantly how. I was about to buy a tomato separator assuming it would work as I am shy on powder atm. I have used one of the electric tray style dehydrators for the last few years. Always used the oven at low temp, with the door open before that. The Thai's i just leave the seeds in. Others I just slice and scoop the seeds out.My oven has a dehyrdate setting. Thought maybe you had some nice tricks. I am WAY too lazy to extract that many seeds by hand.

I downloaded the 2x4 and Harmony programs. The 2x4 def is superior looking from the features. Curious if there is any unwanted feedback from the unit. What do you mean by unwanted feedback? I am up to four of them now...Distortion.Whats your input voltage?Less than a half volt on one setup, the other almost a full volt.

Have a tray of Thai's sitting on a cookie rack/tray combo. Figured I'd let them get started before firing up the dehydrator.

But that has nothing to do with it "levitating" Humidity.Even if not water, it is easy to do.

LC's. Since you are from Texas figure Kansas city style might be fun for you.

Depends on the lens. Some of them are junk, some are nearly equal to their brand equivalent, and some are in between. What length do you need? I am looking at their 16-300 and 18-270. Looking for an all in one for the wife to use. I am going to call B&H tomorrow and get their take on those. Haven't used the 16-300, but own the 18-270. I NEVER shoot it. Focus is slow, can't take multiple shots in a row and have them stay in focus, nothing is sharp, and generally just not a pleasing lens. Nothing in the superzoom realm is though. If you need to cover that range you need the equivalent of a 17-55 and the 70-200. Not sure on Sony/Minolta but around those ranges. No way any one lens is worth owning like that. If you do buy one, buy it used. Price drop shows exactly what most think of them.
