  1. Doubt what you are experiencing is the amp. Don't like it, but an amp is pretty much an amp when operating in its appropriate zone. Yours isn't and that is the problem. Replacing it with something else will gain you nothing. Reality check for you. If that amp only does 75% of rated power even going to 125% with another won't give you an audible gain. Replacing it is the last thing you should do, trouble shooting why it's acting like a bitch is the first.
  2. Both would be HUGE wastes of money. Can get 50a for nearly 1/4 the price power supply wise. And fans are of no concern when dj'ing so not buying pro audio is nuts. I find it amusing your chase for batteries and power in your car yet you pick a measly 35a supply.
  3. Something like the 2nd most population density in the world. Population of Norway in the equivalent space as downtown Minneapolis (whihc is a whopping 280k)
  4. When I get back next weekend I am going to try to go up to Marina bay casino and shoot it from the other side. Shooting this way on the other side of the towers is water, the other direction MILES and MILES and MILES of towers.
  5. Shouldn't say minimum as I shot a lot of the "same" yesterday, but the ones posted are that.
  6. Minimum I was shooting 30 sec exposures, lol.
  7. Uhhhh, pretty lights I still like it even on my laptop. Looks raw even with that little distortion, but I like pics as I would naturally see it. I didn't shoot an HDR so your eyes have more dynamic range than that pic. Crazy how good our sense of sight is. Shooting up a bit which is why I get the tower lean distortion, but it is super easily corrected but confusing for a drunk dude.
  8. What were you using? joby gorilla or whatever $30 pos you can get
  9. Huge beers, bad exchange rate, or just that damn pricey? J I would be fine with that price if they were worth it. Were the worth it? Curious what breakfast is like in Asia? I haven't had anything "American" or European to eat in 10 days. Like Europe in Asia breakfast and lunch are pretty similar.
  10. Huge beers, bad exchange rate, or just that damn pricey? J no,no,yes. puts your bar question in perspective. place was PACKED
  11. Confusing since it only requires 5th grade math. I am somewhat not surprised locally though as I've never been in a shop in MN where they knew ANYTHING.
  12. but then I guess a few pitchers of beer may do that
  13. Matt, that is 17mm on the shitty non L lens Shot at f13 or 16. Could post up the one I shot at 2.8 by accident. Holy crap is it bad. Better spot, didn't take it off live view. Should have realized going from 30 second exposures to .5 meant something lol
  14. Makes me want to buy a real tripod
  15. 2nd one is more pronounced. Easy fix when I am not durnk
  16. Crooked towers lah
  17. And back from the purple bridge showing where I sat.
  18. I'll fix the lens distortion later
  19. View from dinner Sure I fucked up the shot in a multitude of ways and damn don't I wish I brought the wide angle
  20. HBD!!
  21. me neither, but I've given it to other people. Nice to be immune to some things. Most people who haven't had it are pretty tolerant I think. At least in climates where it is prevalent.
  22. I don't understand your question. Measure down the middle - yes. Does your shop not ever build a ported box? wth?
  23. Depends on the amp and you, but both are possible. My home power solution is a couple computer power supplies, but they are server ones. Lots of dicking around but I can supply nearly 50a which isn't enough for a stereo hardly.
  24. You'd need 30 of them wired up together to supply a 1000w amp. At $200 each... ....you can buy one hell of a home amp for $200 and an uber awesome one for $6000
  25. Oh, and J. Paid $47 for 2 beers yesterday.
