Just disconnected them a month ago. I can see them from where I am sitting but they aren't plugged in. Moved the dining room into a living room and vice versa and it is taken away their floor space. Once I know the boys won't jack them they are going in the room downstairs that didn't exist when you were here.

At 5 below though yesterday I rode 150mi with an inflated average speed due to all the fields. Wore a wool baselayer, light sweatshirt and a non-insulated shell. I did wish I had worn my polartec 300 instead of the ultralight one.

I am thinner now than then. Albeit, 5-10lbs max. Not like I am insulated either.

Made for the Iditarod, or at least the guy who wins is normally wearing them. No idea how warm, but they fuckin work great for ice fishing. Standing still all day on the ice will make lesser boots fail.

I've got 250g Thinsulate boots and smartwool socks, does that help any, the rest of the gear ought to cover my ankles and wrists though. If it is above 0 I can wear my hiking boots and be okay normally. Thick wools with them though.

If I park the IQr for the rest of the year it will get a new: stator, regulator/rectifier, CDI & full wiring harness for next year. I want to wire it myself.

So, how does this work. Yesterday I ride my sled into my favorite country watering hole. Everything good about country and nearly nothing bad...in fact they rarely even play country, but anyways. Bar formerly known as Goat Ropers in Farming, MN. Sitting there having a burger and a beer and the previous owner walks in. I thought wtf? He was arrested for tax evasion since he didn't pay taxes and lied like hell for 3 years. They took his bar. It has some dumb ass name, but I thought he was locked up. I guess instead he sleeps there. During the day he goes to the bar he is now renting to the current owners (his only income) and drinks and then goes back to jail. And seriously, wish it was still called Goat Ropers.
