  1. Yeah, you are right. I wouldn't have it in my house as I am not so superficial that I'd pay for it.
  2. They are now finally farming morels so perhaps there is a light.
  3. Haven't had Iberian, but I've eaten a bunch of Iberico *wouldn't bother with the ham, but almost any other part is worth it.
  4. Oh, you mean they act like normal subs. What a surprise. Doesn't match the rest of your post though.
  5. Have you worked and managed one before?
  6. Figures the bitch has a Yammie-trash on his Toyermagerd
  7. There was a documentary on TV a year or so ago using solid state technology on gliders for NASA. Supposedly could fly for several months without needing to land. Was to be used for "weather" observation.Wasn't developed for weather...
  8. Lifetime warranty on ridgid, sounds like time to get a free battery
  9. been a while since it's been topped
  10. ///M5 replied to swift's topic in Build Logs
  11. I am against generalizations in audio, but there is one that holds. Pretty much ALL passive comp set crossovers are crap. Ok, that being said it sure sounds like in this case they were crappy enough to not include a LPF in the crossover itself. Would explain why when you add one it goes away.
  12. Thanks! Hoping the little stainless insert will be enough
  13. What are you trying to get welded? I'll do it free of charge for you if you'd like. I've also welded for the military and know my shit. Just a little cooler. Probably 30min worth of work. I REALLY appreciate the offer. If you were closer I'd do it for sure.
  14. Have to find a place locally that polishes up semi's. Since I am taking part of the sled to a welder and if that needs to be welded the whole thing, I might as well take it to someone who can lay a really good polish on it too.
  15. oval'd hole in my tunnel. Suspension mount. This thread "shows" a fix of a stainless "bushing". Tunnel is aluminum, bracket behind it (black part in his pics) steel in back of it. Both are enlarged. http://www.hardcoresledder.com/forums/354-440-race-modified/598289-iq-600rr-front-tunnel-hole-washed-out.html If the pics don't show up there, perhaps this will work. http://www.hardcoresledder.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=553850&d=1350852094 http://www.hardcoresledder.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=554285&d=1351042526
  16. Bigger challenge will be the front stage. Sub portion is easy.
  17. Different materials designed to do different things. Running a "heater" err voltage carrying wire along the material can steer it. ie, solid state plane flaps move either direction depending on heating or not-heating. Obviously balancing near the equilibrium is key for quick changes.
  18. Leave for Asia on Monday though
  19. Busted out of Detroit on an early flight, back at home. Yay!
  20. ROFL. WTF
  21. Around 60Hz, perhaps less depending on response of the car. Btw, I'm not stuck, just realistic. You are the one that is "only" interested in a 4.
  22. I was going by the picture you posted.... Either way, you CAN have a larger driver without enlarging the hole. Just means more than a 3/4" spacer. 3 way passives are awfu. 3 ways also do not have two different drivers playing the same frequency. When doing a comp set passive you also need the drivers to be spaced very close....which doesn't happen in the center of the car. I you are happy with you 4's keep them, you were the one that asked how to make it better.
  23. Not really exactly why I didn't
