  1. Big day tomorrow for the boys. 7:15 we will be on the boat waterskiing, then off to the stearns county fair, a farm, a parade, and then camping. They is gonna be tired. Ought to be fun with the new toy though.
  2. beddddddd
  3. Boo. Can't format 64gb in Fat32 without leaving windows now. Stupid software updates.
  4. that went downhill fast
  5. Sadly, I actually engineered a part for her. It was somewhat pitiful, but functional. We are $103 an hour, and the local dealer is ~$150 an hour. She would be about $350 into the tear down and re-install by me with no fix. By the time the dealer did their tear down and reinstall she would be into it another grand. She did a bunch of other work, so I decided to surprise her with some custom work by Sandt, and fabricated her a functional duct for free. She was thrilled when I showed her she had rear air, and surprised when I refused her tip. I just asked her to bring her car back to me for future service, that was enough tip for me. You sir are a stud
  6. Jeez if you weren't incompetent you'd have fixed it. Don't see how that is bm'ers fault.
  7. Be careful on that. The extender only works on certain lenses, so it isn't a 100% cure all. It will work on the 70-200 though and that is the key. That plus a 1.4 will be epic. I know
  8. canon $700
  9. Now I wait for Matt to try the 70-200 and then add one of those and I'm done with glass. Might grab an extender before then though
  10. Wide enough for full rooms and long enough for nice portraits.
  11. Ultra fast focus as well. Ought to work sweet for shooting the boys
  12. Had already done it when I met him in bumbfuck nowhere, but wanted a better target. It is SO MUCH quieter than my Tamron or Tokina.
  13. 51mm on a 17-55. Was just doing some dust & pixel looking as the gent I bought it from was willing to let me return it, lol
  14. Bought a new toy at lunch, first shot And no, not a macro. Just wanted to see what she'd do at 2.8. Closest flower to my door, lol.

  16. ROFL, wtf? And um, no
  17. I didn't check any math, but it shows a plot in Chrome without problem.
  18. Did so bad they closed shop? liquor laws, but yeah we served any age as long as they went to school there

  20. Was the last full manager of the last fully student run bar in the country.
  21. Was my trick when I ran sound. The bar closed when I wanted it to close. Being the sound guy and manager has its advantages
  22. For instance, when you play Rollins with the Black Flag uber loud people tend to run.
  23. And albeit boring and with complete lack of any talent, it isn't annoying as hell.
  24. My sister BEGS to play blurred lines on it whenever I see her. It's been the Lake Minnetonka song since May though. I don't mind agreeing though as all of a sudden there are usually a bunch of scantilly clad women dancing nearby nearly instantly thereafter.
  25. Although much more prone to the Earth, Wind & Fire era
