  1. Boo, my hard drive is stuck running chkdsk. I'd like to copy off it. Going uber slow. Been at 8% and freezing regularly for a while.
  2. When I was young I would slouch because I was so big. Always thought I was an asshole when I stood up and had open posture.Sometime in 6-7th grade I had a revelation. Until that point I always wanted to be someone else. The great soccer player, hockey player, whatever. Not sure what triggered it, but I realized I am who I am and wanting to be something else is not helpful so I should just be happy with me. That of course created confidence and automatically relayed to not slouching, having an open body position and so on. Amusingly as a sales guy your goal is to make other people put on their power pose. If they aren't comfortable, they aren't buying.
  3. Although my brother is too, but standing next to me he looks 6" shorter. He is only 1/2" shorter. Guess who isn't as confident.
  4. I am 2 min into the Amy thing. Classic common sense body language. Luckily for me, I am already big so it's easy
  5. That and access to the power supplyfor other purposes would be beneficial.
  6. Caseless is for a different reason, accessibility and no need. I have a 19" rack it can go into. A topless 19" enclosure is fine.
  7. Was actually thinking of running case less when I rebuild. Or sort of anyways. Get the power supply and other shit out of the case.
  8. I find a non-Turbo S not practical
  9. I do nothing to make heat, but have plenty o'120's in the case. Figure cooler is happier.
  10. My computer is in my basement, monitor and such in the kitchen.
  11. Amusingly I should have done what I originally wanted which was to mimic what I setup for my dad. I imaged his drive after I built his machine in case I had to restore. Figured it'd be good to test it out on my own. Helped me rationalize the new SSD, lol
  12. I could boot off anything. Lol
  13. again. It talks about an image...that I don't have. I do have 3 copies of the same thing now though.
  14. And instructions http://kb.macrium.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50079.aspx Shouldn't have read about cloning first...easier. <-still hasn't read the link I'm posting.
  15. I'll stripe when I build next. For now, my storage drive was dying. Boot drive was 55gb of 60gb so I thought I'd upgrade them both. Add a 2nd 840p when I by a new mobo and have time to rerip Windows and all my automation shit. Just mirror the 60 onto the new 256 and copy my fresh backup onto the data disk.
  16. Wanted a Vertex 4, but the 840 was $90 cheaper randomly the day I bought it.
  17. I downloaded Macrium Reflect and used that to clone. They have an image option as well, but a quick search showed the clone being easier. I just don't want the OS drive full though and a secondary partition on the same drive. That's fucking stupid.
  18. Perhaps I use the word wrong. That is a clone isn't it? I'd consider a clone a mirror... Of course, I'm like Ryan here...just trying hard.
  19. If you buy a new boot drive how do you not?
  20. Couldn't get it to boot off the original disk in a USB case. Right now it is in pissed off shut down mode.
  21. ALmost missed this both times, quoting so I'll watch it later.
  22. Realizing I'd only do it if I could use said sticks in a PC I'd build in a year or so.
  23. 3 sticks of DDR3 12800 2gb sticks. Will I feel gains if I up it?
  24. I will never buy another Gigabyte motherboard.
  25. Bios for boot option
