  1. Taking the family out for sushi tonight. I love Yumi's
  2. How about jeans, a dress shirt and dress shoes.
  3. Work in sales for a while, that will change. Sean probably has some sage advice like the best sale for company is always the one that meets the customer's needs first. But downward pressure to hit your numbers (if it's really a "sales" job) takes it's toll, and your ideals go out the window pretty damn quickly. I'm a non-salesman stuck in a sales job. I had always envisioned myself behaving the way you describe....here I am 7 years later behaving exactly the opposite. Solution based approach is required. Otherwise customers really won't buy.

Can't have rears with your processing
  5. Great song.
  6. I'd definitely save the $$ for the rears and put them to use on the fronts.
  7. wtf?
  8. awful swimsuit, but indeed
  9. It is that way with ANY part of audio. If you aren't willing to listen then perhaps a different hobby is in order
  10. Or as my Yale colleagues had written on their wall:<br />I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
  11. about as much as I need a lobotomy
  12. I need a lecture
  13. Randal to clarify this is the first time you've EVER stated you were sponsored by Blues on this forum. You instead chose to complain about $$ instead. If you have to run something you have to run it. And Rick actually followed. I didn't say make a 4 cyl fast, I was referring to as he says to yank a V8 and replace it with a 4. If you go reread you'll see that taking things in context helps. As of course would the quotes you are misrepresenting of mine. I surely said nothing in car audio will impress me, but what you left out was that I was comparing it to home audio.
  14. Outside of a couple very extremes I've never heard a car with rears that didn't sound better with them faded to off.
  15. No such thing. You need to listen for stress.

That amp probably isn't stable with a load under 8. The notch would clean up the top end harshness. If you rebuild them I'd also only use a single array and put the drivers closer together.
  17. Uninformed decisions. 80PRS is better than any Alpine made today. There is no rule of thumb. I also expect the OP has difficulty further down the signal chain and not the headunit if it is causing audible distortion at such a low setting. Time to re-evaluate your gain settings.
  18. And you missed it as well
  19. Good luck Seth
  20. Anything in the chain could be bad, most likely the install. The amp itself is the last thing I'd expect.
  21. Only reason we didn't buy new ones earlier is we were going to move the laundry room up stairs near the master instead of near the entryway and kitchen. Lifting a 400lb+ washer up the stairs isn't my idea of fun. That is what delivery is for.
  22. Instead an hour to take apart because mine has fucking hidden clip bullshit and hopefully only that to reassemble. Probably means 3, lol
  23. We've got the cheapos that came with the house, but if I'm selling I don't really want to drop $1k for nothing.
  24. My dryer is slowly going out. I refuse to let the wife know. I wouldn't buy one that matched the washer when I got it, so she won't forgive me. Washer is a beast though. Direct drive bad ass mother fucker from LG. What is the dryer doing? They are pretty much simple. A heater, a motor, something to support the roller, a belt, and a fan. Add one dumb electronic control board.
  25. Boo. Dryer spit a tensioner pulley bearing. Only $40 worth of parts including a bunch of preventative and shipping, but a pain in my ass. Going to deaden it a bit while it's apart.
