  1. Where, how, and why do you get a meatball sub at 3:30 in the morning?
  2. Of course not, but the BM'er wins there.
  3. Just made an offer on one. Had the right options, couldn't say no.
  4. nope im on the autobahn......... Then you are driving uber slow
  5. NEED the steering wheel controls though without other buttons
  6. Windows 8 is a perfect interface for the car IMO. Had I known the dumbo metro stuff would be so sweet I wouldn't have bought an Android for the boat, but just built a car PC. Not having a mouse is huge.
  7. Yes, the vents and shit won't be as nice, but it'd be cheap and give me a kickass interface that won't age over time.
  8. Go from: to this: which gives me more screen than this:
  9. Psyched. Get the new front end for the IQR later on this week. Basically updating it to 2013 specs which will greatly improve it's trail manners.
  10. And as long as the bus to the factory amps is not digital could even mimic any processing to get by using them and the stock drivers.
  11. So for someone who is more up to speed than I on these things, ie pays attention. I assume the PAC SWI-CAN interface will allow me with some other mechanism translate the CAN bus volume control for the Cayenne into some format that a CarPC can understand? I see a wired infrared output and surely assume someone has a driver for something like that, but thought maybe there was a stellar integration. This would allow me to fix the one pet peeve I had with the Cayenne when I drove it. The 1990's sort of Navi screen and interface. Plus modern Google Maps, Bluetooth, and my whole music collection could be had on a cheap Windows 8 machine.
  12. One reason to love my car
  13. My concern is the time bomb of a repair in the Benz. As long as the motor doesn't go until I own it for free though I could easily part it out for more than $20k lol
  14. If you mod at all, boost wins
  15. Indeed! That kind of goes with my original point. The P will whip the benz in just about everything I recon. And as for reliability, I don't think the MLAMG has a real leg up on the CTT even in worst cass reliability problems. Not everything: That is an S too, not a great video and I can't find one but everywhere you read says the ML wins in the straights.
  16. From a dig, the original Jeep SRT feels quicker than the new one. If it weren't a pos inside it'd be fun to own one.
  17. I am scared of the benz
  18. Tires, brakes, oil changes I'm used to, it's the surprises. Of course there are a ton more Cayenne Turbo's in MN than ML63's. Typically relates to cheaper parts and repair. More ML's though, just not the good ones.
  19. No warranty. Work would lease it for me and at the end of the lease I get to keep it. ALL repairs would be my responsibility thoughWeird that the screen is non functional. They aren't going to include "broken" in a sales pitch. Just to be clear it isn't that exact car as I can't buy until December, but the idea of getting a $25k beast that in three years is mine for only the price of repairs. Now I understand. Yes I think it is a the only vehicle that is a solid upgrade from what you have in almost every way.But you were also the one adamantly citing their lack of reliability ruining the Porsche reliability perception
  20. That and my low ML63 is 10x the two vehicle either my old Silverado or F150 was. It does WAY better. Of course you can't get much larger brakes nor more power.
  21. Do realize at the same time there is no controlled definition so it is a rather easy specification to manipulate.

J Air suspension
  23. So if you release the AMG, its yours at the end of the three? I know you are bored with it, but why not just do that? Get your house on the lake, then buy your supercar. Yes. My concern with the AMG is the same as the Porsche. Maintenance cost. I know the potential for disaster with what I have and generally feel that a very high mileage Porsche > Mercedes > AMG, so it was a thought.
  24. By all means. I like that one from the list of others for sale atm.
