  1. So much THIS. mp3Tag + foobar are an amazing combo for mass organization. mp3tag is helpful IF you are willing to pre-organize in folders otherwise it is a bumblefuck. Of course, do realize I have ripped over 3500 albums.
  2. Aquaphor lip repair. Do not use balks or chapstick or anything with any sort of wax in it. They form a barrier on the lips and keep moisture out. My son drools in his sleep and it tears his lips up and this is what the dermatologist suggested an we use it religiously. If you have to suck dick, cure the sores with Aquaphor. *we use it on our children as well, good stuff and a good recommendation
  3. Best to stop sucking on dicks.
  4. I don't use Genre, no need for me. If I feel like listening to Tool, I type in T, and select Tool. If I want to listen to Primus, I type in P, and select Primus. Not everyone is anal. And what if you want to listen to Miles Davis and own more than 250 Miles Davis albums. good luck without a folder structure...
  5. Curious how the Itunes manages the latest Rihanna or whatever the shit fuck better than any generic player?
  6. I also don't consider anything a media front end unless it also controls Radio& Pandora. I can have my pc play Bitches Brew and when finished switch to Sex Pistols Radio on Pandora without delay.
  7. If you want to buy those tracks.
  8. I'd also like to see your tag library and ask you how you update it. Genre as a sorting mechanism is USELESS unless everything utilizes YOUR genre tags. I currently have 8 genre's. Anymore and it doesn't so much help. *excluding things like Christmas etc as outside of December those get temporarily "hidden" from the library*
  9. Itunes does all of that except by folder. Amusingly I have my entire 80gb music collection in a single folder--no subfolders.I know and that is flat out a deal breaker for me. Ask any dead head how many versions of Dark Star he has and how you'd sort those. Gets even worse if you branch out into Jazz. Now play a whole album (minus tracks you previously wanted removed) and continue the play list with a few songs, then another album and then .... If you want to spend hours on an apple device fine, that is a couple clicks for me. Dynamic play lists ftmfw.
  10. Music player MUST sort by: Folder Genre Artist Album Song In any and all orders of sort. Otherwise it is useless. Searching should be able to be limited to any of those categories as well.
  11. How do I know what you have, what you did, what your failures are and what not? I will say I've had bloatware concerns with non-rooted Droids, but even then outside of an occasional piece of shit hardware from a stupid manufacturer there are not problems. Think about it, it flat out isn't possible otherwise the internet would be alive with anti-Droid commentary. You see what happens here when one sub breaks, people shit. Now imagine that times a million. The flaw is absolutely not intrinsic to the operating system. I used to use only Apple's. Saw the light a little while back. Pretty much guarantee nearly everyone that recommends an Apple product is either non-computer literate or owns one and hasn't really tried another solution. No harder than you tried Windows 8. *read no judgement on 8 from that comment, just a reflection on your comment above*
  12. /\ I've never seen one that large
  13. Then what causes it? Based on no solid time use? True. Based upon initial use and added to with recommendations/usage from others I work with? Yes Fair enough I have no problem navigating over 300 albums on my iPod touch. But is it worth the hassle to have to go 'freeware' hunting every time they try to patch something and fuck it up worse? I just have been getting sick of windows as of late. Especially with their issues. As for the free wi-fi that is usually true. But other spots it doesn't exist. The other cellular data deal is because a lot of my travel will be by car or plane in the next year. I've been offered a few positions that will require numerous travel, and sometimes hunting for wi-fi will be more trouble than its worth IMHO. J What the? Freeware hunting, lol. Considering fucking Apple doesn't work either and has no freeware you are basically complaining about the fact it's free. Stay sick of Windows, me too just far superior to Apple's OS crap. Why is the wi-fi even related to platform. The Apple does NOTHING in this regard a Windows 8 or Droid based hardware solution won't also do. If you really think it is easy to navigate 300 albums on your ipod then you will absolutely LOVE any other platform.
  14. You should get out of it rather easily.
  15. Charmed Quark with a custom interface at home. Winamp in the boat
  16. If it's anything like the desktop version I'd rather drink Drano. Yep, IMO it is absolutely the worst piece of software EVER developed. It's sole purpose is to get you to spend money at the itunes store, not to help you play music.
  17. Bonerrific response! You should read & comprehend before you type. You managed to flippy floppy responses, see below: Ding! Yes, something marketable makes sense! And your other misplaced thought dispelled here: ...and the response As for your trying something new comment, that is laughable too. The driver isn't trying something slightly different. The technology in it is more than 30 years old. Nothing new at all. Just fits ONLY where idiots shop and not something desirable for anyone else. As I already stated there are exceptions, but they are few and far between.
  18. The drop out has nothing to do with it being Droid Your perception of Windows 8 is based off no time use. Far superior to Apple's craptastic bs IMO Lossless has NOTHING to do with the media player as they all can do that Then you have a teeny unorganized music collection. Try importing even a measly 100 albums into Itunes and negotiate it on a mobile device. It'll drive you nuts. Microsoft surely has compatibility issues but there is freeware out there that solves it all easily Spending extra cash for less utility and a bigger mess is stupid IMO. Again "use it with your cellular data" is not determined by the platform. Most airports have gone free and for how "often" you fly buying a more expensive device even if that purpose were logical is self defeating.
  19. Um, huh? Don't think so.what's wrong with those enclosures?Doesn't match at all with the comment after the ellipses. If the ellipses truly lead to your goal worry about the front stage first.
  20. Um, huh? Don't think so.
  21. How is a dash permanent and a console not? And yep, guy was either an idiot or a sleaze.
  22. Using the built in ANYTHING on Microsoft is a mistake. Same with Apple and there in lies the ulimate shortcoming of an Apple.
  23. Download Adobe Reader or Foxit or your preference and change your default to using it. Alt + F4 will close that app so no need to minimize. Alt+tab will go straight back to your last app if that is what you want to do. All sorts of swipe shortcuts too.
  24. Also curious if there is actually a good noise cancelling mic for the PC I could hide not so far from my mouth. Conveniently the sunshade is right there and I don't ever need it since the roof works for me.
  25. Would probably add a USB antenna to cover sports radio too. Curious how Pandora might stream via bluetooth as well. I assume shitty
