Not flipped, but you can spy the AMG without me leaving my couch.

A wee bit cleaner. I am SO happy to be rid of the semi-metals in the front. 2 stops and the wheels used to be filthy

    Complete soccer mom brakes

Used to be when I'd do brakes I'd look at the pads/rotors and wonder how the fuck something so small can slow me down. These don't leave you with that same feeling.

I just want to know where they got them as they'd probably fit. All I can think of is you jamming out to Turtle Neck and Chain. Making me laugh so hard. Wife thinks I lost it. I don't even know who that is.

How in the fuck does one crack a rotor removing pads? I have been doing this for almost a decade longer than Stefan has been alive and I have never cracked a rotor removing pads... I have cracked rotors trying to beat them off a frozen spindle, and even had to cut Ford rotors off with a torch (horrible design), but just removing pads? Cracked I meant in a slightly different way than it read as in cracked the lip off. Took a little of the rotor with it as in less than a 1/3 of a toothpicks worth. That being said I wasn't interested in driving like I do with it on the car anymore. I've never seen it either and while I am sure you've done thousands of more brakes than I have, these weren't my first.

  13. A single driver is cheaper than a pair and usually nets you an output and capability boost.
  14. Funny impression. Not accurate at all. Not sure why you'd want to do it either. If you have space, which you need to port an 8, there are better solutions. If there is some other limit that forces the 8 then so be it...but with the impression being your reason I'd personally recommend you do something completely different.

Oh, and FUCK YOU Rock Auto. Sent me pads that "fit" only to make me run to Benz and pay fucking $177 for the rear pad set since they were the wrong size. $30 to $180 sucks. Would have just slapped the old ones back in, but of course in classic Sean fashion I cracked the rotor removing the caliper. Little lip + powdered metal = brittle.

Yanking that caliper puts the size thing in perspective. It dwarfs my size 15's

Put some new metal under the benz. Nice to have a "shop" night.

Wish they had just the tall store. Big & Tall doesn't help me. Shit just don't fit. I need it LONG. Nice score for you though
  19. Running a single 8 ported RARELY makes sense. You should up the cone area instead.
  20. 8's and subs are an only if you have to. Cone area is king and diameter is the way to gain it. That being said, enclosure limits FIRST then sub shopping NOT the other way around. Components you should go listen to as many as you can. By far the best way to narrow things down.

Have had friends with good luck running Cabela's AGM's as well

Did I mention I left mine in the boat connected over the winter 3 years running and they were still acceptable?
  23. My guess as well. And yes, the cap is NOT helping. Yank it.

In particular when you need 3+ every other year, cheaper is better. Had yellow tops that didn't last as long btw. Not surprising. The Spira-Cells in yellow tops are known for shorting. The design is weak with regards to durability. The separators in flat plates makes them far more durable. Fisherman unless sponsored never use them. Or clueless and misled by a sales guy. I can't think of a harder application for a battery either than a tournament chaser. 6+ days a week of full charge full drain.
