Welcome to the IHoP
I can't find shit, I've been looking for a spring with a higher rate but can't find any. What Should/Would I do? There are tons. This is for the Stang? HE's going to have to go with custom springs or making something work. There are thousands of high rate springs for the Mustangs, but all are in the interest of racing or looiks and will lower the car and limit travel. I just slapped oval track racing springs in the galaxy on adjustable perches. Had to grab the perches from a Wissota modified store, but they were cheap and easy. Got the ride height nailed and had them welded up. Rode stiff, lol Every time I read Galaxy, I think about this thing: Umm, no. Not mine, but close

Oh, Mirin is just a sweet wine that add's glaze, sweetness, mouthfeel, and is absolutely yummy in things. And even though it's wine it'll just be sold at the grocery store. Really not sure why it isn't regulated since it's stronger than beer

Dashi is a base not a complete "sauce" For Udon I normally use: About 2 quarts Dashi ~2 tsp of salt (to taste, but that's about right) 3 Tbsp of dark soy 3 Tbsp of light (or Mushroom soy as I fucking love it) 2 Tbsp of sugar 2 Tbsp of Mirin Mirin is definitely required for any Japanese cooking and is one of the primary flavors in Cold Soba dipping sauce which is Dashi, Mirin, and more bonito flakes with a teeny bit of sugar and soy.

I've never timed mine, perhaps I will later on today. It isn't noticeable, but I am using it on a boat where I have other things to get ready before the music anyway.

Udon noodles has doctored Dashi usually. In that case I'd pick up some dark (normal) soy sauce and light. Add a bottle of Mirin as well. FYI, when in doubt grab Kikkoman as even though it is made here it is pretty authentic and once you see all the choices you'll shit and be confused. I've made some horrible wrong guesses

Lord it's huge....but almost none of the packages have anything in English. Expect to be overwhelmed, but just have fun with it. Perhaps perusing is better than shopping atm. You also won't see it from Coastal, it's down the back alley off the side road kiddie corner from Coastal. Turn right and an immediate left out of Coastal go a half block into the industrial park and you'll see it. As for the right, I don't mean onto Minnehaha. Oh, they should also have instant Dashi which is WAY better than any instant beef/chicken stock. It dries pretty well and isn't all salt. Definitely an okay substitute but you do lose a little subtlety and mouth feel.

Randal, you don't have to partition your drive to have them in FAT 32. I have a 750gb drive connected to my Tablet for my headunit in FAT32 with only a single partition. 32gb doesn't hold shit.

I know this wasn't directed at me but I'll add my 2 cents. I have experimented with intermittent fasting with good results. My goal, like many others my size, is to lose fat and be of what I would call healthy strength. The initial reasoning for fasting is that I assume I am getting all the extra benefits that Stefan has mentioned, but in a addition for me it make diet adherence easier. If I wake up in the morning and know I'm not going to eat I go on with my day. I drink plenty of water because it is the only thing I can have. When I get to lunch I'm know I'm ready to eat, but it is actually much easier for me to pass by all the fast food joints and hit up the super market to think of something fresh, delicious and with plenty of protein (if I haven't planned already). Because I didn't waste a single minute with breakfast in the morning or snacks I have more time I can devote to lunch. I get to eat to my hearts content on healthy food and feel great (Did I mention that sometimes I have a brunch at this time? BEST meal ever). Afterward I spend the rest of my day not really worrying and I "graze" on a few healthy snacks. At dinner I eat with my girlfriend and repeat the process. When I was attempting an all day eating schedule I felt more need to plan out all the meals. I also felt like all I would do is snack all the time and never feel full no matter how delicious and healthy the "meal" was. Also, when I'm used to eating every three hours I get ravenous hunger pains. On my fasting diet I feel content after my one big meal. I don't get that on an all day schedule. Also, I am not eating extreme amounts of calories. Eating only 8 hours a day makes it easier to stay under my calorie limit, especially if I focus on healthy foods. For me I focus less on the food with the intermittent approach. That alone helps me tremendously. You only describe convenience, not health benefits.

And I'm a moron. Made beef jerky last night, but somehow shut the oven off before going to bed. Wasn't really dry enough when the oven went off Of course, I was really drying a pan of fresh thai chilis but figured I'd had an extra pan so I grabbed a steak yesterday. Damn waste of a steak.- Welcome to the IHoP

Restaurants usually mix miso paste in soups so as to not offend any particular regional tastes. Light or yellow is sweet Red is more savory They get darker as well, but I'd start with those. Cheap enough to buy 2. They'll have almost any tofu you want and a bunch of other yummy stuff. I always hit Coastal and United together.- Welcome to the IHoP
I'd recommend United Noodle. It's almost in the parking lot of Coastal. Mine consists of Miso & Daishi. Daishi needs Kombu (kelp) and Bonito Flakes (hana katsuo may be on the package) Technique is somewhat tricky as you slowly heat the kombu, if you boil it your fucked, but it takes about 10 minutes to get soft. Once soft, remove it, bring water to a boil, kill the boil (I use a little water) and Bonito and bring to a boil then shut off the heat. 5 minutes later or so I strain. I sort of wait for the bonito to start to settle. Add some miso and bam. A little fish stock goes a long way. Have some shrimp stock that I'll be doing it with tomorrow. Had some gorgeous whole blue prawns so I figured I'd eat them twice Obviously things like green onion, wakame, tofu, and nearly any mushroom are nice additions. Oh, it's worth ordering a duck the day before you go.- Welcome to the IHoP
Along with the Herc turd- Welcome to the IHoP

Are your benefits measurable? I think you've trained your body based on your belief. Pretty easy to do. Somewhat the opposite of being in touch with it though. Mind over matter easily occurs when you are the matter. I'm mostly shocked it makes you feel better. Of course the natural elation of finally being nourished when starved is exciting, I don't look forward to causing it to happen. There's a reason your body feels like it does when it's hungry.- Welcome to the IHoP
Pack enough sugar into anything and it tastes good perhaps. - Welcome to the IHoP
