  1. 2 - 12" SSDs ported to whatever "low bass" you want would be great... I think they require less than 5.5 cubes which you're gonna have alot of ... Plus you won't "need" as much power... I'd say a good 1k would be enough and later on you could upgrade that for a bit more output....
  2. An 18 in the trunk of a Altima? A fifteen is gonna be close to a stretch.. What are your "MAX" dimensions you're willing to give up as far as trunk space???
  3. looking good so far!
  4. welcome sir!!!
  5. sounds like a bad idea why is that? Im not disagreeing with you, im just curious why you say that. Unless you know what you're doing... Those are very hard things to "match" in sound.... And if you knew what you were doing then you probably wouldn't even think of that... A nice 2-way set should be more than sufficient.. If not, then maybe you can power the tweeters off the HU and the mids off the amplifier... But no 6x9 in the mix... Right now i have 5 1/4s in the front doors and 6x9s in the rear, there kicker components. If i amped them, would it make a difference? Lol im starting to see im more then a rookie when it comes to this stuff. Like stated... I'd say go with a good set and maybe forget the rears or use the HU to power the rears

    welcome sir!!!
  10. nice!! love the big plans!!!
  11. I thought the same thing I thought the same thing ew Lantz. well, do you ???
  12. It can go however low you'd like .... Obviously you can't push it the same way as if it was tuned higher...Not sure what would happen to power handling or excursion issues? ... someone else may need to chime in there... But you have enough port area? Again someone else should chime in...
  13. Can you just tune lower? Like say tune to 30hz and see where it models for peak? I'd think that should murder the lows but you might need some fill-in with the speakers of your front stage as the subwoofer won't be reaching the higher frequencies as much....
  14. Less port? might do it... Not too sure.. I've modeled my Xcon and with a bigger box the peak is lower only by like 2hz though so not worth the size difference to me...
  15. bigger box ??? But then you lose power handling...

Last time I didn't that is one reason why I had to redo them. I think I'm going to use plasti dip unless someone else has a better suggestion. I was also gonna ask if you used that... lol Plasti-dip seems like a winner for alot these days...

True but learning that and the needing to learn photoshop later is more annoying cuz eventually GIMP won't do everything as well .... But I am a fan of GIMP... But I vote Photoshop... Stamp them ladies tits and stomachs up baby!!! lmao
