Flipzslicks build log
800w @ 30hz did a 153.7 on the dash. I'm waiting on my other 20.1 to get back so I can run one on each sub at 1ohm. I'm very impressed with there out put with such little power. I can't wait to see it at 4000w lol

Flipzslicks build log
I'm planing on 3-4 more layers of mdf on the front and I'm going to flair the port and around the subs. I'm just waiting to find a router so it will have a nice clean roll on the edge.

Death Row and Death Penalty
At this point, we should almost require build logs here. , I agree (it should be part of the rules when signing up, once you ask a question about car audio you have to do a build log).

Radio pop?
Glade it makes someone happy my wife hates it! The engine grounds all have been upgraded to 0g. Engine to body engine to batt, batt to body. Then in the back I had Every batt to it's own ground, and I had a copper bar connecting all of them. Didn't help. And the 148 was really a 148.2 on the dash with a TL. Lol
-
Radio pop?
Still does it when I press mute. The other thing that I forgot was an all the amps I try if I turn the gain up the subs just hit countineusly. Until I 1. Turn off the HU or 2. Turn down the amp

Radio pop?
Thanks guys. I have triedany ground locations nothings helping. If I hook the head unit up to a batt free from my car it plays fine, still has a slight pop but not as loud as before. I think I'm gunna try a ground loop and see if that fixes it. I wouldn't even worry about it but it's hard to come home and try not to wake anyone up lol. When I turn the key off it's s 148db burp lol that's why I'm trying to quiet it down.

Radio pop?
Well it does it every time I change tracks or turn off the key. I have already went pretty overkill on grounds lol. But ass for amps idk it did it on my old Memphis 4kws and now on my IA 20.1's.

Radio pop?
I upgraded all my grounds to 0/1 gauge. Cleans of paint secuered tightly. Is the ground what's causing it?

Radio pop?
My radio make my subs "pop" when I change tracks and turn off the car. I have tried replacing the rca's that didn't help. differnt head unit stopped it. But I wanna try to keep my kenwood. Any sugestions. I have heard that there is away to stop it just don't know how.

IA death penalty 21 questions
Sub forward port forward would be best. 10^'s after displacment? That's gunna lower your power handaling. I would just do 8-9^'s.

Please, don't use UPS...
Hey I use ups, fedex is worse. The not only screwed up the cone on one of my 21's but shattered the basket broke off the motor, cracked the magnets. So I give ups a thumbs up for never screwing anything up on me. I've had nothing but good luck with ups and nothing but bad with fedex

For 60sq in of port. @5^ it'll be like 3x5x11 5/8 tuned at 33 hz. That's just a rough est. On port and sub displacment.
-
blew my sub
Maybe it's just where your buying it?
-
kickin my own @$$.. please help
I would just put the sub on the pass. Side and port on the drivers side. That'll be the easyest way.

Digital volt meters
But we still need to support our local shops. After all the local shops help keep the industry going!!! Yea it's nice yo save a buck, but by saving a buck your taking money out of our local shop. Keep taking money out of your local shop= NO MORE local shop!!!!! Just my 2 cents. But yes the stinger vot meters are BRIGHT but they work great and small enough to mount anywhere.
