Of course you have to have bracing but you still have to hold up 80lbs.with it being on top will help out alot. I didn't know you were outing it on top so 2 layers will be fine.

Not really add it to the out side. Leaving your inside volume mine are in 9^s each before displacment. Triple on the front doubled the rest of the way. 1 layer will break, 2 layers is still flmsy, 3 is perfect.

No you put a 21 in 11-12 cubes and it'll fall on it's face. My two are in 17 cubes and they love it. That's still to big man for just 1 15. How was the sub breaking boxes. Sure it wasn't the build? If you are reconing it to a 21 then 8.5^ is perfect. Tune it to 32hz with about 120 inchs of port.

I didn't know the specs are 3600w at 2 ohm strapped. And 1800@1 ether way it's the same power. Just didn't know if there would be any benafit from strapping them

I have two d2 subs (d1.4). I have two IA 20.1's should I strap them at 2 ohms or run 1 sub pre amp at 1 ohm?

Heck your box is to big for a 21

I have a kenwood hu 2 21 inch incrimnator audio DP's walled in 17^3's @ 31hz 2 incriminator audio 20.'s strapped 2 more coming. Right now all I have batt wis is two deep cell interstates (1200cca). Looking for better. 200 amp Alt 5 runs 0/1g more to come. I have a 5 inch LCD in the steering wheel, 7.5 inch LCD in the passenger dash two 10 inch lcd's in the back ( pointless since I built a wall) and I have a ps3 under the passenger seat. The car is a 1998 Mitsubishi diamanté ( soon to be modded to a vrx 3.0 twin turbo) just have to get up off my a** and do it. Car is lowered 2.5 inches has full VIP body kit. 5% windows. O the car is also fully loaded with leather,heated seats, wood grain, the works...... Once I'm done doing the swap I will hook up the awd.

Is there any real differance between the two? Pros and cons of the two?

How are these amps I was told they will put out 4800@2ohm rms straped? I have never heard of them so idk. U know you sell them but what's your opinion on them. What would you say is a fair price for to used 2400's? Or would I be better with my Memphis 4kw?

I just tried this same build and it failed sounded great but only hit a 140. That was sub up ports forward.

The 40.1 can be run lower than 1 ohm on proper electrical. I thought the 4kw could be run lower to?

My local shop (SB Audio) has a 40.1 fs and I was debating on selling my 4k to buy it. But didn't know if it would benifits any.

I'm runing two ia 21 dp's I am trying to figure out what amp to go with a incriminator audio 40.1 or a Memphis 4kw if any one can help with the pros and cons of both please and thank you

It's under build logs so I all ready have a thread started. And yes I already have the drivers wood amps batts and car. Just needed a refresh on my math for now that's all.
