  2. alright thanks a lot guys.
  3. ok so here's the set up 2 12" fi bl's fully loaded off a aq2200d amp wired to 1ohms. 1 deka intimidator 9a31 in the back, and 1 Deka Intimidator 9A78DT under the hood . box will be 2.5 cubes per sub tuned to 32hz, dual chamber an double baffle. Precision Power PPI 356CS for the front stage off a alpine mrp-f300 amp bridged givin them 150watts each. i'll be gettin a HO alt(220amp, 110idle), big 3 upgrade to 0 gauge. now i've been told to get knukoncepts wires. but can somebody tell me ALL the wires that will be needed for this set up work. an links would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
  4. last a long time an perform well
  5. my friend just bought 2 type r's. i recommended 2.5 cuft per sub but the alpine recommendations are 1.75. that seems very small to me for a 12". they are gonna be runnin off a aq1200d amp at 1 ohms. will they do fine in a 5 cuft box dual chamber tuned to 38hz?
  6. yes i realize that music is dynamic so they wont be gettin 150 at all times. only when the music is pushin it to 150. well i'll have a clean signal so im sure they'll last a while.
  7. i've read multiple times they can take 150rms fine. so anybody use them?
  8. can the CTX65CS - Image Dynamics handle 150 watts each?
  9. what speakers can u guys recommend that are 250$ or less for my front stage. im gonna have to fi bl's off a aq2200d amp. and i wanna be able to hear the vocals. the speakers will be ran off a alpine mrp f300 bridged gettin 150 watts each. also i plan on going passive. so any suggestions?
  10. ok well ill just turn the sub gain down on the head unit when i wanna listen to music. then turn it back up when i want pure bass. i think im between these 2 speakers now. http://www.woofersetc.com/p6201/CTX65CS--Image-Dynamics-65%22-Component-Speaker-System.htm http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9128_JBL+C608GTi-mkII.html?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=froogle i've heard great things about those image dynamics. an im pretty sure they can take 150 rms. so any suggestions?
  11. i just want to be able to hear all the vocals.
  12. are u sayin take the image dynamics?
  13. ok im going to be buying 2 fi bl 12" fully loaded an im gonna run them off a aq2200d amp. 2.5 cubes per sub tuned between 32-34. so i wanna get some components for my front doors but im gonna have 2200 watts of bass an i wanna be able to hear all the vocals. which ever speakers i get they will be runnin off a alpine mrp f300 amp. the amp will be bridged givin the speakers 150 watts each. now i was lookin at both of these. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9128_JBL+C608GTi-mkII.html?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=froogle http://www.woofersetc.com/p6201/CTX65CS--Image-Dynamics-65%22-Component-Speaker-System.htm any recommendations? budget is 250. so please tell me what speakers i can get runnin off that amp that'll keep up with my subs.
  14. well there specs are 2.5 max for each sub an im thinkin 2 seperate chambers for each. except idk what to tune it at. idk what these subs do well at
  15. so im going to be buying 2 Fi bl's 12". im thinking 2.5 cubes per a sub since there gonna be runnin off a single aq2200d amp. so what should i do about the port. im thinking around 70 sq" of port which would be 4.6 inches wide. what are ur suggestions for a box that would run this set up well?
  16. well actually i decided to go with 2 fi bl 12's off a aq2200d amp, a deka intimidator 9a31 batt for the amp. PPI 356CS for the front stage off a alpine mrp f300 givin them 150 each. 2.5cubes for each sub tuned to 33hz. any recommendations to make this set up better? maybe tune higher or lower? idk what these subs do well at.
  17. thanks hove. any other input? an no the x's dont have the roconeing option
  18. which sub can get loud with maintaining good sq and which is just overall better. ill be gettin 2 12's they'd be goin in a 4 cube box tunned to 32hz. either would be runnin on a aq2200d amp. so any input?
  19. x2 on very loud. the copper series can handle 2500 watts. there comparable to a fi btl. great sub. will last a long time.
  20. o ya i ment ported my bad. would they do better in a sealed pox?
  21. could two 12" type x's take a aq3500d amp wired to 1ohms? or would it be better to run them on the aq2200d amp? also box recommendations? i no it should be sealed an tuned to 32hz but how many cubes should i give each sub for them to perform there best? also ill have the electrical to back all this up this will be a daily set up no comps or nothin
  22. should i choose the image dynamics or the ppi's? both get great reviews http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17121_Precision+Power+PPI+356CS.html?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=froogle# http://www.woofersetc.com/p6201/CTX65CS--Image-Dynamics-65"-Component-Speaker-System.htm i want to give either of them about 150 each speaker. now the alpine MRP f300 amp does 300watts bridged to 4ohms x 2 channels. and the TRX4.300 - Soundstream 4 Ch 300 Watt Amplifier does the exact same. they cost about the same. so any recommendations on which speakers and what amp to run them on? thanks!
