Next week ill be buying 2 MJ-18"s for my explorer. 12.4 cu ft box tuned to 31 hz. gettin 700rms each. will this get loud enough? ive been spending a lot of time in my friends denali with 2 Fi BTL 18"s and i dont wanna be disappointed. while im not expecting output like his...will i come close at all?

hmm ya i guess thats the golden question..what is loud? the only thing i have to compare it to is my massive audio 15" getting 1500rms. how much louder would u say....? haha i know its a hard question but im curious

I really can't answer that. What I can tell you is they will sweep more air than the single 15", and by doing so they will produce more output. The rest is left to the install and the environment they are going into.

a guy did (I think ) like 145.?db's with 2 mj's in a sealed box so I would think with two in a ported box you can do some thing like 140's to 150 but you just dont know
