Hello Guys.. I just bought the Fi. ssd10 800w 1.5 ohms, Now is that ok to put into the logitech z-5500 Box with its amp that is rated at 200watt 8 ohms. Will this damage the new driver or the amp.. I would think it would be ok for the driver without blowing the sub. Just do you think the amp will be ok?

Moved to computers :)

On another note, if the amplifier in the logitech system is only rated at 8 ohms, you can be pretty sure you're going to cook it no matter how you wire that sub up.

And if iirc that logitech sub is an 8", not a 10". So you would need to build a new box as well and transfer all the components.

Humm. Ok. the logitech box is 10" so im set there. Perfect size box. But as in heating up the amp thats what im worried about. lol Thanks for the feedback

You'll cook 'er real fast if you're looking to run that low of an impedance to an amp not meant to handle it. Why not get a cheap plate amp? look at www.partsexpress.com for one
