Posted August 8, 200718 yr Hello Guys.. I just bought the Fi. ssd10 800w 1.5 ohms, Now is that ok to put into the logitech z-5500 Box with its amp that is rated at 200watt 8 ohms. Will this damage the new driver or the amp.. I would think it would be ok for the driver without blowing the sub. Just do you think the amp will be ok?

And if iirc that logitech sub is an 8", not a 10". So you would need to build a new box as well and transfer all the components.

But as in heating up the amp thats what im worried about. lol Thanks for the feedback
August 10, 200718 yr You'll cook 'er real fast if you're looking to run that low of an impedance to an amp not meant to handle it. Why not get a cheap plate amp? look at www.partsexpress.com for one
